Giant TCR for sale - 20 speed, 56cm-ish frame, Shimano 105, A3 stem, C5 carbon seatpost, integrated brakes/gears, 700c wheels. It could do with a bit of a wipe down, but it's in fine condition and has been serviced recently. Generic v-rim front wheel (not original); IOU 333 rear wheel; the paint on frame has been stripped, so it's silver, whilst the forks are original red/black. PM if interested.

I'd like to trade my 1950s Raleigh All Steel bicycle for a decent ss/f wheelset or a bike for a small lady or cash. It's in pretty good, ride away-able shape - 57cm, 3 speed Sturmey Archer gears, old-style 26" wheels with new tyres and tubes. Newer bits (bars, levers, Apollo seat) have been added to the original frame, but it retains the nice, old look. There's a line of rust on the frame, and on the mudguards, but the "All Steel" markings are intact. The frame reference suggest 1958; the Dyno-hub is 11 48 though (?). Let me know if it's of interest, or if you know anyone into this sort of thing, as it's just taking up space. Thanks.

Here goes. Offered is a 1930s lightweight. I've no idea of the make; smallish frame is 20" (ref no 21037), bb is Bayliss Wiley. The brakes are original Resillion brakes done over in black. I'm told the bars could be Lauterwassers. Whatever they are, they're that nice shape. They've been taped as an expedient, but ideally they'd have original grips rather than modern tape. The rear hub is Sturmey Archer from July 1958 (quadrant lever on the top tube. I acquired the bike from an auction in Peterborough in a distressed state with a fading all over black paint job (before and after photos attached). It has been restored - not quite perfectly, but pretty well by an expert. The bike has an original Brooks B15 Champion Standard saddle in good-ish condtion. The original resillion brakes are intact and working (although they still suffer from the old black paint job). The tyres hold their air, the gears change smoothly, and it rides pretty well. I'm not totally enamoured of the new colour, so it's for sale or exchange ( perhaps a couple of hundred plus, or cash and a decent ss/fixie bicycle/s). Having trouble with attachments here, so PM me if the "before" and "after" photos don't show up
