Thanks a lot for your comments guys.
I can't decide on the stem and saddle actually. Neither style nor colors.
Of course the stem will be 73 degrees as it suits me. I'm looking for some quill stem as well. For some reason I prefer one with detachable front plate.
I also consider white saddle and bar tape. Maybe a Fizik curve or a San Marco Zoncolan.
Any suggestions are welcome. -
The Gazelle is almost ready. I rode her for the very first time today. After some fine tuning she will be perfect.

is your real life name Agi or Christian?
also do those rims have a braking surface? I saw them the other day in Athens, but didn't realise they were for this frame!
No, Agis is the owner. I'm just a customer. They are lacing the wheels and building the bike for me. I provided the frame and most of the bits.
The rims are nos campy omega v tubular.
-
I also think the black/skin is nice.
What's that bike shop you're in? It looks a bit like Cicli Berlinetta
I do not say black/skin is bad either. But I like all black much better. Actually I'm obsessed with these wheels and bike; http://www.studiobrisant.com/fahrrae...bile/index.htm
I cannot decide whether white (with a little red) saddle and bar tape suits it better though.That is a local shop in Athens Greece; http://48x17.com/en/about/

Hi all,
This is my new project:
Groupset will be campy chorus 11.
Wheels will be with silver hubs (or black campy record) not decided yet, silver spokes, black rims, black tubulars. I'm looking for campy omega V, but if I don't find any, I shall use classic box section.
Stem will be -17 degrees, or quill, maybe silver,
Seatpost silver or white.
White saddle and bar tape, maybe with some red details.I would appreciate your suggestions and comments.
There is some significant progress in my new project lately.
Tubes are going to be black/black. I think black/skin do not match that well
Still can't deside about cockpit saddle and seatpost. My thought is black seatpost, white saddle, black stem and bars, white tape.
Any suggestions are welcome. -
I presume that the appropriate front derailleurs for this frame; http://www.flickr.com/photos/41284201@N05/7886058436/in/set-72157631302203496
are the brazed on ones.I have a chance to buy a used groupset with a 31.8 mm band on. Can it be used somehow?

I posted this in the current projects thread also:

Apart from the groupset and the wheels which are pretty much decided, I would like to have your comments and suggestions on the other bits.
Thank you in advance.

Happy owner of this frame.
The deal was concluded on Friday 26/10. Rih dispatched the frame on Monday 31/10 and it arrived home in Greece next Monday 5/11.
It is as advertised and even better.
Just one small complaint. Rih, should improve his skills in ............... photography...........Thanks Rih.

What is your experience about this shop ? www.spacycles.co.uk
I thought that they are reputable and I placed an order on March the 29th. On April the 1st I got a mail saying that my order ''will go to the post office for dispatch to you airmail shortly'' (April's fool maybe).
Yesterday two weeks later, I wrote to them and I received this answer; ''Apologies for the delay. We have been extremely busy due to the Easter Hols and I haven't had tiime to get to the post office. Will get the post these either today or at the latest tomorrow.''
Very frustrating. I know these things happen sometimes and I hope it's accidental.
Although I've only had one transaction with spa cycles, it went smoothly and I'm sure many others will have experienced the same.
Finally I received the parcel today and everything was OK.
They actually sent it the next day as they promised, but there was a lot of delay due to the volcano eruption and the greek postal office maybe. -

Recently I built my first single speed bike;
As I wrote above, I finally purchased a Profile Design stoker for it. Unfortunately I had not seen this handlebar in reality before and as it has a constant 26mm diameter, it can be fitted in a traditional quill stem with a 26mm clamp. So, I was about to buy a charge slice until I read a review that says ''it only fits modern stems'' (I presume ahead stems). First review in this page; http://www.evanscycles.com/products/charge/slice-track-bar-ec019151
As I see in this photo the slice is 25,4mm only at the clamp area and then the diameter lowers to 24-23,8mm I suppose, therefore a traditional quill can be used.
Does anyone have any experience ?Thanks in advanced for your prompt answers.
If you look at the photo of the Charge Slice bar, it's only the clamp area that are 25.4;
Exactly Ed. This is what I said at the previous post. I presume it would be ok. It is the review I read that confuses me. Maybe it's not serious.
Thanks a lot for your consern. -

No I'm not asking this. I thought that a bar with a 26 mm clamp would do as well. But the stoker doesn't because it has a constant 26mm diameter and the quill cannot slip through the curves (a quill like 3t Motus that sports a divided clamp would do). http://www.defietsenmaker.nl/index.php?item=3ttt-quill-stem-motus-grey&action=article&group_id=10000013&aid=161&lang=EN
What I'm asking is if the charge slice is the same. -
-
Thanks for the answers, you all are very helpful. It seems that the only alternative is to cut the charge slice.
I have one question thought. Would it be difficult if I buy the Profile Design stoker to remove the colour and polish the middle part? I'm asking this since the stem I'll use is 26mm. Or just buy a shim and not bother.Recently I built my first single speed bike;

vmar, it looks shit. get used to it.
only joking (how we laughed). it does look really, really nice, the only criticism is when you look again it is quite long. i trust you will start on number two soon and it'll be a shorter, nippier thing?
I promise Jeez. I won't let you down.
Is 60cm the seat tube c- t or c- c ?
What is the length of the top tube c - c ?
