Hi,
so long time no post, but here goes, due to on going medical rubbish its still unlikely that i'll be riding anytime soon, this bike has served me well but sat gathering dust for at least the last two years if not longer. it was my daily commuter/all round bike.
I'm told its a 1950's track frame and forks, it was sold to me as that
When i had the seat bolt fixed at Neil Orrell in Manchester he agreed that the lugs where Nervex from the 50's but couldn't comment on what the tubes where made from but it was good stuff. Also its worth noting that at somepoint someone has maybe moved the seat-stays as the welding on them is different to the rest of the bike.
I rubbed the frame down and painted it with hammerite a while back as the frame paint job was awful. when i did this i didn't find a makers mark what so ever in any of the obvious locations so i have no idea who made this frame, Neil said its possible it was a apprentice/practice frame, but one that been nicely built.
the bike comes as is, the headseat is loose but other then that it rides well, ( maybe i just suck at headsets ) and was serviced about a year ago when i thought i might be able to ride it,
TT is 22 inches ST is 21 inches
the wheels are Halo aerorage, still smooth and straight after 100's of miles
the rear brake is dia compe brs 101 clamp on ( there are no brake mounts )
the Bb is a cheep Shimano sealed unit
the crank is mostly a sugino messenger but the silver arm is just a sugino cheep silver arm
the headset is swan super deluxe, little bit chewed up, maybe needs replacing.
the rest of the parts are just cheep ones to complete the bike, nothing special.

I'm selling my Medium ESB frame and forks with all the parts also pictured along with it.
I bought this to use it as my polo bike, used only briefly, but personal circumstances meant i've not played or ridden it in a year and a half

What you get is:
14 bike co ESB frame with raw coat, frame is near to perfect from what i can see,
14 bike co ESB forks with hand done black paint, had brake lugs at one point, had them professionally removed so quick fix at time to stop rusting.
DMR wing bars and stem with federal grips, bar ends are scratched naturally, and bars had around 2 inches off each end but still wide. few scratches where brake leaver was.
Selle san marco rolls saddle, scuffed and stained but perfectly sound and useable
Seat post, nothing fancy just dose the job.
**gusset fix-t cranks **in 165mm in white. couple marks but hardly used.
mongoose chainring, cheep and cheerful from a bmx. its round, it works.
odyssey twisted plastic peddles, scuff marks in usual places.
eastern headset / mid bottom bracket. work perfectly.

This is nearly a complete bike, add a chain and some wheels, give it a once over and your good to go. I won't split this, I'm selling this as a Frame and forks, you get the rest for free to do what you want with. I don't have the tools to dismantle this correctly so will no risk damage to parks or F&F

Its all currently located in Aylesbury, For the ESB Im willing to bring it to london or any other town located within a reasonable drive from me for travel cost. (london is £23 train for example) I am also willing to post, obv wrapped up well. and will let you know cost if you choose that method.

I'm selling my ESB frame and forks with all the parts also pictured along with it. Simple reason being its not being used. Its a shame to have such a nice bike just sitting there so it should go to someone who will use it.

SOAD are brilliant. I managed to get tickets for the finsbury park gig after they got Christmas number 1, incredible gig.

DJ - in reference to above point, they stopped x-factor get christmas no1, then gave all the profits to charity from said single, and put on a free gig to heir fans as a thank you. I can think of worse bands.
