The forecast is horrendous.

Came up from Hornsey - went through Hampstead garden suburb and temple fortune which was fine. It’s just the last bit that’s horrible. Given Amazon is killing physical shops I cannot see the people who run Brent Cross ever spending the money to revamp it and make it more friendly and accessible for cyclists and pedestrians.

For posterity - what I did.
There is a footbridge across the north circ about 50m southwest of the junction with Heathfield Gardens. Cross there and follow the footpath on the north side for a short way then you end up on the roundabout that leads onto prince charles drive. Definitely not good cycling infrastructure but much better than cycling on the north circ.

I need to go to Brent Cross later this week in rush hour and the dark. But I live inside the north circular.
What’s the best way for me to get there by bike, that doesn’t involve cycling on the north circ or one of the major feeder roads onto it?
Also does anyone know if there are bike stands at Brent Cross? The place is so car-centric that it brags about free car parking but makes no mention (that I can see) on its website about where you can lock your bike.

Have to feel a bit for those who have got to drive from Hungary to Etna. Inner ring says it is 1900km by road. Even with shared driving that’s a very long way to do in not much more than 24 hours.
