Titanium has an incredibly high melting point. Must have been some radiator that this bike got leant against...

I've got one, and I love it. Great design, and good for the weather at this time of year. Wore it in conjunction with a base layer last weekend, and it was perfect for 10-15°C rides.

love it as a thing (think it's one of the best looking things rapha do) but don't wear it often as I run quite cool ;)

also, shoulder pad good for carrying bike and running. less good for (left) shoulder bag wearing.

lovely, great for winter training and commuting if like me you run quite warm

Lands End to London - Depending on how London is defined for the purposes of the records that somewhere between 270 and 290 miles taking in Bodmin Moor, North Devon, Somerset and the Salisbury Plains before taking in the urban hell of Hampshire and Surrey. All while maintaining and average pace of at least 22.5 mph.

I guess it's doable, particularly with the prevailing wind. I'd recommend starting at around 4pm at the end of March, preferably on a weekday in the Easter Holidays.

London = Hyde park corner/marble arch for records going west, st pauls for records going north.

Sounds like the wind jacket is the one to get for winter riding. Nicer but not pricier.

What is the practical difference between the wind jacket and the pro team jacket? It seems like the pro jacket is cut closer and is a bunch more spendy. Anything else?

As long as you are planning to ride back again I doubt you will have a problem. Bikes are banned from the trains at brighton tomorrow though so if your mate is going to take 9 hours to get there bear in mind it might be quite late by the time you get back..

Yes, they have done a very good job of the resurfacing the zig zag road. My guess is the speed bumps will come back after the olympics. If you want to get a fast time, the next few months will be your best bet.

Was planning to make my debut hop this eve. But forgetfulness has put paid to that. Cycled to work, discovered that I had left some of my work clothes at home. Cycled back home to collect said clothes. Realised there was no way to cycle back to work in time to get to important meeting. Had to leave bike at home and take the train in.

I'm an idiot.
