i fell off too. i was only putting my leg up on the bars when i must have done something wrong and i was scaping along on my back, my brake caliper is bent to fuck :(

done it on two bikes, it made them both look crap. very un-nickable, especially with my lack of attention-to-detail

my 07 langster looks to be worth 40 pounds, its covered with aluminium insulation tape, with the original rust coloured paint showing through all the scratches, which i believe to be attempts by people to discover what bike is underneath it.
my steel oldie did not like being taped up and when i finally pulled the gaffer and electrical tape off, she lost some of her original paint too, so, v. bad idea on a 30+ year old bike.
