As title, 22.5" seat and 21.5" top tube and 74 parallel, blue flam with white head tube and silver transfers, chrome forks and chainstay. White lining to lugs. Original finish which has some marks. Can send more photos on request. Bought new by me to my spec as a special order. Todays price would be £750. Yours for £275 to incl campag record headset (needs to be regreased). Collect from St Albans.

When I have had stuff from the states the custom charge in addition to VAT has been around £10 and by the time I have added the cost of shipping it is has always worked out a bit cheaper than UK suppliers but if there is a warranty issue........I sometimes wonder if UK prices are set such that personnel imports are marginal.

Stuff from Honk Kong seems to escape vat and customs, not sure why as I thought it was now part of Chima?

You need a mate flying back from japan that can put it in their suitcase or some one whose importing a car so you could fill the boot with the stuff

I re-measured and found I made an error with the size in my previous advert

22.5" seat and 22" top tube (c to c) Mercian track frame in 531 competition tubing with chrome forks and rear stay. Looks bigger due to skinny tubes. Campag ends and Nuovo Record chrome headset. Takes a 27.2 pin and naturally an English BB. Seat post clamp is a recessed alan key bolt which was special order as was the chain peg on the seat stay. Purchased by me (not a forum find being passed on at a profit) from Mercian some years ago (I have the original reciept somewhere) to my specification which was 74 parallel, flame blue with white head and lug outlines, BB height to suit indoor tracks, chrome as above, even the allen ket seat bolt was an extra. Drilled for a front brake but one was never fitted. Cost me a fortune back then but this is a handcrafted frame. Raced by me at Welwyn and Newport but replaced a few years ago by something newer. Has some minor marks but see the photos and try and spot them.

I am looking for £375 which is a significant saving over a new frame in this spec (around the £750 mark) and thats not with campag ends or headset.

For a bit extra I can include a chrome 1/8th chain, cinelli stem, italian bars and a retro campag aero seat pin.

Points race at European masters track champs, came nowhere but kept up. Even the warm up was hard!!

Try 35mph average for 80 laps at Newport Veledrome on a 90!

I'll have to go to that as sadly I will be in the Junior and Hill climb champs from 1979, still have the result sheets!!!
