Did you order them from their website? Was going to order some but it might be less hassle to just pick them up when I'm in America over Christmas as they are made in Pittsburgh (where I'm from).

It was the cheapest for a clamp on brake. But then again I would pay the extra money to actually get it posted to me on time.

I don;t know why people buy from this place. It's a shambles. And it's not the cheapest place.

I've done it with a Turbo saddle, which sits up right next to the bolts. I just wrestled with the saddle by pulling it away from the bolts and using an adjustable spanner or a really flat 14mm one I believe (not sure if the bolt sizes are standard or not).

Easiest way would be with two people, one making room for the spanner by pulling the seat partially out of the way while the other loosens the bolts.

Just to reiterate, I've recieved what I ordered after two months of ordering and I still think they are crap and I'll never buy anything from them again. They didn't rob me of money, but of time.

I will always return to shops where it's easy to speak to the people who work there regardless of if I've got a crappy bike or have a blingin' bike, too much of this bike snobbery about and not enough nice people.

I'm going to be throwing the desk and chair out if no one wants them. I literally have a couple days to clear my flat. Also have a microwave if someone wants it.

Hopefully it doesn't rain. I'm just going to leave it outside in the garden. Not on the pavement of course.

I know this is an old thread but rather than making a new one for myself I thought I would add on to this one. I have a question about the grey area of "Normal wear and tear" in the contract in regards to the deposit. Or is this up to the landlord, obviously this hasn't happened yet but it is worrying me and I would like to be prepared in the event of them trying to take money from the deposit. For example, scuffs on the wall seems like normal wear and tear to me but it's not excessive. I don't know some estate agents are real nitpickers....

I'll stick to the gators for now. I have very little experience with them but looking at them they look slick and not so great for winter? Next thing you know I'll be looking for studded tires, but that's for another thread....

But it's only 1mm, and tougher side-walls/thicker puncture protection layer, so likely to be less comfortable.

I haven't had any punctures on the Gatorskin, I just wanted to try out a different set of tires to see which one I like more as I've only had Marathon Plus 32c on my old bike and never got a puncture so I stuck with the same tire. With this bike I was in a rush as I need tyres to ride it home from buying it so bought gatorskins. Maybe I'll be reasonable and just wait until I need to replace the tires and then try them out.

And I'm more of a shop online kind of person so fair enough about returning but it's a pain in the ass online and I'd rather avoid.

Also I like matching tires, front and back. Is that wrong?

I searched but I couldn't seem to find anything... Does anyone have an idea of how the Halo Berlin Courier 700x24 fits in comparison to Gatorskin 700x23 for tight clearances? I have a few millimeters with the Gatorskin on the front under the fork but I'm exactly sure if the Berlin's are much bigger than that or no? (Basically yes or no question)

It would be crap to buy and then find out they don't fit.
