i simply don't understand how any company could justify charging that much for a chainring. unless you're racing in keirin?
my bike. have since changed bars to risers. drops are good for the commute, but no fun.
picking up the matching front wheel tomorrow.still needs - plastic wheel, ridiculous/impractical massive chainring, stupid TT extensions for the risers (want the spinaci lights).

I would totally run these if i could afored it
please don't ever buy these! i had a pair, the worst hubs ive ever owned, by a mile. get formula hubs instead, they're better. these fuckers never stay tight, the hardware is gash, goes rusty straight away. utter shite.
ultra slave. maddy have some rep back. i want tt bars so bad, just for the commute. too fun. whip skids on aero bars = all kinds of dangerous/awesome.

i love the IDEA of having an ultra deep front wheel/hed3, but having ridden one that my mate had on his vigorelli, they do feel amazing, but only in nice conditions. i get battered about enough when its super windy, and thats with 30mm rims....
got a missed parcel card through today, going to collect the histogram tomorrow!

My friend and I thought about doing this in a relay type way. One person runs, the other cycles, then we switch over say every 15 miles.
On a similar note Im in a team of 3 to attempt this: www.tr24.co.uk.
need a 4th?
looks like fun!

hahaha ive nerg'd maddy so many times it won't let me do it anymore.
seriously, read the thread before reposting a repost you *pillock*.
found out my histogram is in the country! il have by tuesday at the latest apparently. and my matching front wheel is ready to be picked up....
my sled is almost complete.
getting some new tyres to celebrate, anyone got any recommendations for some nice 23cs?

dedicated bunch running at this time on a saturday! enjoy the sun guys :)
i beat my PB for my 5k yesterday, after training every day for 5 days. my legs are battered! need to work on endurance stuff more.....
anyone else barefoot running?
dunno if its due to having imbalanced leg muscles or what, but my calves always kill the day after, even if i do a lot of stretching, warm up warm down etc. anyone else in the same boat?

in my experience TFG are great. ordered a frameset from them last year. they called me to let me know they didnt have the colour i wanted, when i missed their call, they wrote me a letter of apology! i ordered a different colour, they emailed me full tracking details. it arrived the next day.
i also had a wheel built by them, which is without a doubt the best wheelbuild ive ever had. spoke tension is off the charts.

Bought some cheap risers (with Ourys, of course) on a whim this morning. I'm not going to be doing my 40 mile commute on these, but they're hilarious. Coming from my bullhorns, the handling is amazingly responsive and you can just throw the bike around so much. It's like riding a 'proper size' BMX, with slick tyres. Great fun.
And it looks salve as fuck with the Spok and bottle cage. Bonus.
change pedals/straps. scrap back wheel. get rid of brakes.
its all about shitloads of seatpost. don't want it to be like liams bike with his 'thom' seatpost haha ;)
next up, stupid chainring and TT bars.
