I meant Steels tbh. This is not meant to be rude to them but a couple of people have said they've had less than perfect builds from Dentons - now I know no-one ever really talks about a good build but fancy trying somewhere else.
Steels have been around for donkey's + had a chat with them yesterday and needless to say, they're totally clued up.
Just need to scrape together some $$ to pay for it all now - won't be this month
for real? ahh well il just get the rim from them and get it built elsewhere then, cheers for the heads up :)

same reason i opted not to get a trick frame in the end, i want to go fast fast fast.
same here
tbh theres not too much point in getting a trick frame unless you're really going to abuse it - stairsets, drops, shit like that. just get a decent steel track frame and adapt to the geo!
tis a lovely frame though, like the raw, nice touch.

again, i have added newcastle to the thread title.
i guess new threads show up on the main forum somewhere? so people just see "fixie tricks" or "spotted" etc.. and post links to the london main forum threads, as above.
would be good if newcastle people could remember to put 'newcastle' in the titles from now if it's something like this, thats already covered in the main forum.
cheers
phil.ahhh soz phil, thought that because i posted it in the newcastle fixed bit it would only show up there? my bad.
bruises? what from?!
i properly faceplanted the snow this morning, was baaaaad haha

i know a lot of people hate on this element of fixed gear riding, but i think its a lot of fun, so i thought id start a thread to see if theres any interest!
im not talking about jumping gaps/doing stairs/going to skateparks etc.
a lot of guys are 'pushing the boundaries' with this kind of thing, but personally i say if you want to do that shit - get a bmx.just stuff like trackstand variations, backwards circles, leg over bar skids, anything really!
plus stuff about setting up your bike to make it slightly easier etc...
any thoughts?
