fairplay on the whole "fixed gear tricking is gash - get a bmx blah blah blah"
going fast is simple, i do that every time i ride, i want to take my riding to the next level, so i practice trackstands (still acceptable to fixed riders), i get bored of trackstands, so i try something else, like a barspin, and people go apeshit?? i say open your mind and let people do what they wanna do, its all fun and games.......Haha i was just kidding Tristan, I know first hand how people can get so protective over fixedgear tricks after i did that post on SHREDABILITY.Each to there own, i mean Iv got skateboarding for tricks If i didnt skate though then theres a chance that Id be doing tricks on my bike. Different strokes for different blokes.
haaa fair enough like, im just sick of eating shit for liking tricks :S
i hated bmx tricking, too 'clunky' if that makes sense. skating is the boyo mind, ive just found some old footage from when i was like 14, doing little rails, kickflips n stuff, good times -

Hi Tristan,
Believe it or not, the polo beater cost me £12.50 to build. Basically that was the cost of the tyres. The rest either came out of the skip at RCB, was what I had lurking around the shed, or what I could scrounge. Just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune or use exotic parts. I know some might turn their noses up at it, but it gave me a lot of pleasure to build, cost fook-all and got me started in polo. Might upgrade when I get a bit better at polo, but it suits me as a starter-bike ;) I've got another part-built if you're interested?the art of scrounging is a wonderful art indeed!
fook me thats sooo cheap, it looks really good too, did you spray the frame yourself??
sounds good on the part build, what bits are we talking? frame size is probs the most important thing tbh...... -

so can he til he gets a fixed cog sorted. and yeah were both gettin footstraps soon as. fuck me, if i hadve known i was gonna get this much of a slating i never wouldve bothered. nothing like welcoming people into the community.
haaa no one realised it was a single speed methinks
il support the brakes idea though, i thought id be geet clever and have no brakes in my first week - fucked myself up big style = no riding for a month :(
as for slating, i still get ripped for riding like a dickhead and having no lights - slatings all in the game hahaha
you should see phil about footstraps, hes been making some hardware-less velcro beasts, pretty cheap too.....
