When i got to the middle bit I had to stop cutting for a few seconds and let the disc get to top speed before cutting again. Sparks galore, needed goggles.

I cut through an Abus steeloflex £80 job the other day with a 240v grinder in 40 seconds, it went white hot, surprisingly tough bit in the middle.

Condor should do the right thing and replace frame or at least sell new one at cost price. If it were me I would write a v. polite begging letter to them.
