I spent the weeks running up to launch making a small buffer of bags so it went out straight away yesterday afternoon

Is the compartment completely rectangular? I've been looking for something that can take an A3 bound document (42cm x 30cm) without it bending/folding too much, so a bit of reassurance that that would work would be much appreciated.

It depends how often you'll be using it. In conjuction with the compression straps it'll fit no problem, but if its a daily thing i'd maybe suggest something different!

It will be done in the near future, it'll take next to no product development as it'll be just a scaleup!

do you plan to make a bigger version? say 25L ?

That is on the cards, but you'd be surprised at what it can currently fit. 17.5 is the pure mathmetical response to the dimensions, compared to some 20L hiking backpacks ive had its much more useful

Already incredibly cheap, esp when compared with comparable bags sold on here.

A geeky question - whats the capacity roughly in volume/litres?
I only ask because thats what my current bag is measured in.

17.5 Litres when closed, but theres more capacity when it's not fully rolled of course :). I've had some 20-25L hiking bags in the past at this feels like it can take a little more despite the dimensions. It's designed for commuting for those dudes who find standard messengers (often aimed at messengers) to be oversized.

also, is there anywhere to clip keys on the strap?

You can clip onto where the female buckle is for the cross strap on the main strap, but there's not a dedicated D-Loop. There however will be one on the soon to come mobile/cell pouch ;-)

Will these bags fit LPs in them?

A 12" record? The dimensions rolled down are 50x25x14cm, so height might be an issue but should fit at a push. However if carrying records is the sole purpose of the bag, I'd suggest something more directed at that sort of thing!

Those totes look great, not quite the same thing as what's being offered here. You got a super comfy padded commuter bag, not professing to be for carrying a catalogue of tools and parts.

did a simliar ride to that yest, managed to squeeze 2200ft into 30 miles somehow, purbecks are real cycling country (for around here that is)

Sadly they've been priced as lowly as can be, so more people can afford a British made product. The materials have been meticulously chosen and aren't bought in the thousands of metres like the mass produced stuff in china. In fact, a good deal of the materials are made over here too, such as the liner and the webbing.

Yeah stickers are great, nothing beats a good quality vinyl sticker.

For the chaps/chapettes waiting for pouches, cos of the jubliee there will be a considerable delay as there was no post from fri-tues. Did get most out on monday but regardless they wouldn't have been sent out from the posties until today. Apologies!

yeah that's the thing, they tried to run me down cos i gave them a giant middle finger, the kid in the back threw something at my head, hit me, what a shot.

can't make it tomorrow, i'll text you about going down there when you can get out of the office in the week soon though!

Theres an overlap at the top of the pouch when you fold it down, so you get a good seal either way.

Both materials used in the construction are waterproof, and outer layer of 1000d nylon backed with PU and inner layer of 'truck tarp'.
