Howdy everybody,
Jordan from bigxtop here, with another one of my lfgss posts.
Here's the blurb from the blogpost announcement:
*The long awaited Phone Pouch is now available. It straps on to your bag strap or onto your belt and is available in some really nice colours and even a camo pattern. Also has a little d-loop on the front for your keys or whatever.
Also on the list, a little aesthetic revision to the straps. One of the world’s toughest straps is now available in a range of colours and also in the camo pattern. There’s also a little elastic doodad on there to help you tidy the excess on the straps more effectively.
The Phone Pouch is 20 GBP, and the straps remain at 30 GBP.
What kind of people would we be, if we didn’t offer a little incentive to make sure that you and your loved ones get something unique and handmade in their stocking this year? use the code STOCKINGFILLER at checkout for 10% off your basket.
UK CUSTOMERS – YOU HAVE UNTIL FRIDAY DEC 14TH 2012 TO ORDER IN TIME FOR XMAS
Some may still arrive in time after this, but this is 5 working days before Royal Mail can guarantee delivery for Christmas via First Class Post.

Hello,
Just selling some bits to buy more bits,
Campag Avanti Mirage 8 Speed Ergo Group, Bought this a little while ago when I graduated from suicide shifters. The most important part (shifters) is Mirage, rest is Avanti. Works really nicely, incredibly smooth and a complete bargain for those looking to up the speed on their classic roadie. Overall in good nick for age, even includes the little things you put on the lugs. 100 Posted.
Shimano RS30 wheels. In great condition, really good mid range wheel and entry level aero wheel with flat spokes. 110 Posted.
Elite bottle cages. Cool looking, suit any classic build, 7 each or 12 for both, posted.
Cheers!

have another bump and... when can we expect the phone holster?
Hello!
It's just based on when I have the time to get it all together. The mini messenger took off more than I ever could have predicted and work tends to come all at once. It would have been released this week, but a barrage of mini messengers came in and a trade order for accessories needed filling too!
Thanks for the continued support chaps and chappetes!

you don't have to lean forward to get weight off the back, ive never done that, ive always found it super awkward.
the easiest way to get weight off the back is by lifting the back wheel, get used to lifting the back wheel up (just tiny hops) when you're going slow/not skidding. then apply this when you come to lock your legs and skid, but at that point don't actually lift the wheel fully. it sounds weird, but once its locked in you should be able to hold the skid. you should be able to sit over your saddle and do this no fuss

Jordan, any word on the phone holster? Do you have any idea what dimensions you will go for? the Chrome one for example, is adjustable, but too small for my Samsung Galaxy II....
All of them actually, seem to use the iPhone as a benchmark size...
It'll be what's coming next dude.
It'll easily fit the galaxy s II, I have one of the largest smartphones avail (htc one x) and it's been designed around that!

Hi Jordan,
I've always wanted to move towards a messenger for my commute.
Just a few thoughts, i cant see any pictures of the front of the wearer and the sternum strap? Also there's a pocket on the front which looks useful, any guidelines as to what would fit in there (phone, wallet, keys, etc)?
Oh and what's the bit between the front pocket and the bag opening (under the roll/within the rolling area)?Would be interested to see if you had any ingenious tips for commuting a shirt to the office in the bag, my daysack works to some extent but requires very specific packing, i think the messenger back shape is more suited - but i've never been able to try one out and test it.
Many thanks - looks a great product!
EDIT: oh and have these seen ipad testing?:D
Hello!
There's a photo on website of the front showing the sternum and the big buckle!
As for the front pouch, I tend to chuck my lock in there and maybe a few other quick access things.
Basically, as apollo illustrated better than I did in his photos, the external straps are great for attaching exotic things to the bag if needs be.
As for keeping your dress shirt tidy, you can actually buy shirt carriers (link)which you could then pop into the mini messenger. I've no actual experience with these pieces of kit but if the measurements match then you shall be all good.
And Ipad testing, no, but the back of the bag is fully padded so it offers some protection in that instance!
Thank you!

Looks great apollo, thanks so much for posting stuff up.
Everybody's loyalty here is just fantastic.
For those who might have some questions about me.. This is my full time job and tis a real business! I don't make a tonne of money and I do this because I've always wanted to be self employed and I enjoy making things. I work from a dedicated workshop in the form of an amazing brick built building in the back garden, that came with the flat we rent. I enjoy both track and road bikes, and would probably enjoy mountain biking if i had the chance.
Everything is made to order, the only time I'd ever list something as out of stock would be if I couldnt get the materials in for some freak reason. Anyone who orders a mini messenger should expect for it to be dispatched within 3-5 working days depending on the work load at that point.
Thanks guys!
Hello!
Just a pair of barely used Shimano RS30 wheels in white.
Great set of 'aero wheels' whilst still being tough, light and strong.
