afternoon all. An unfortunate event has resulted in me needing to sell a few things so first up is my newly completed pink "fun bike"

It's a bright pink saracen Pylon with Brand new On-One Cromo disc / V-brake forks, a singlespeed setup and acres of clearance for tyres.

Currently set up with:
Truvativ isoflow SS crankset
Tektro IOX rear cable disc brake
Hayes MX2 front Cable disc
Unknown Front disc wheel with very wide rim
Grimeca hubbed rear disc wheel (brand new)
Kevlar Belted Schwalbe Big Apple tyres 26x2.35

also it's a size medium 18" seat tube

this was going to be my play bike as it can fit nice wide tyres and is comfy as hell but unfortunately stuff happens and not everything can go the way we planned so hopefully someone will get the same pleasure out of riding it as i intended.
Although i've never played I imagine this might do as a polo bike, or a girlfriend / boyfriend bike

no problem at all, forum sponsers have come up trumps with two sets of shimano's on sale, but what would you say would be ideal for my friend; he has never ridden a road bike before and the position will be entirely different to what he is used to, so, should i get him the down tube mounted shifters or stem mounted?

yep shimano 6 speed, they are currently braze on friction, mdcc if you wouldn't mind taking a look at some point (i'm in no real rush) that would be very generous of you

I'm finding it a little hard to find 6 speed indexed shifters for my mates crappy road bike project

I have a bike with a 6 speed freewheel on it, can i mount a 7 speed on it and fit new shifters?

living in stratford upon avon and i'm the only guy riding fixed up here so i'm now getting tired of bmx kids asking why my wheels are so big <700c army FTW> but here is my current:

it's an itenditi persona that i've adjusted to trick better than OTP, I'll be replacing the wheels as soon as i've taco-ed them, but for now they are holding up to everything i'm throwing at them, which might not be much as i'm only a little guy, but yeh, Holler!
