Flax London (disclaimer: it's my brand) :)
We design linen clothes for all seasons, cos it's a very sustainable and underused fabric.
Everything is made ethically and diligently in London, using all natural materials. And we are plastic free, from the factory to your door.A few people on here have become loyal customers, so might be able to vouch for quality etc.

A mate of mine has a great eyewear brand called MONC that I think will appeal to LFGSS members. They have a heavy focus on sustainability, using bio-acetate and glass lenses (rather than plastic). And they launched their try at home service yesterday if anyone is interested...

A mate borrowed my proper bike (2010 Canyon Ultimate CF) and managed to break one of the rear seat stays.
So, I’m looking for a replacement frame. In an ideal world, I’d find a used but well looked after frame of the same calibre at around £300-400.
Anyone have something that might fit the bill? Thanks!

Not the olive one, no. But we've got a Light Green which we think is even better. We've been road testing the final samples for a month or two now, and the reception has been really encouraging.

@Tenderloin I know you prefer the bottom button higher up but there's good reason for the current button configuration. We were very keen for the collar to stay pretty central when unbuttoned rather than splaying towards the shoulders. So the construction includes a collar stand, which requires a button relatively close to the collar button. We tried 5 button with that as the starting point but it definitely didn't look right. So we've settled on this as a middle ground. The bottom button sits about half way up the pocket on the Large, for reference.

I know a few of you expressed an interest in the jackets we were making for SS19. Well, they're now finalised and on pre-order (delivery estimated first week of May). As a little thank you for the support and advice, I've made a 15% discount code exclusively for LFGSS (the general pre-order discount is 10%). Also, you guys are discerning people and we'd love to have you wearing our stuff.
Check them out here and let me know if you have any questions.

Quick Chore Jacket update for those who expressed an interest. We've now got the second iteration of the jacket, which is much closer design-wise but still not quite there. The really exciting thing is we've found a linen that is a) different b) perfect for the jacket. It's a really solid 500gsm and gives us the sturdiness we were looking for. We're road testing it right now and it's had a unanimously good reception, which is always promising. I'd be intrigued to hear what the LFGSS Chore Jacket connoiseurs think (pictured here in red, but will also come in a dark indigo and another colour).

Yep - I suspect those will be popular colours.
That's a great chore jacket - love the colour. Interesting (especially from a French brand) that they've decided against the internal chest pocket on the right hand side. We took a lot of inspiration from the original bleu de travail jackets, and it's a near ubiquitous feature on those. Like this and this.
Each to their own, of course. :)

The spacing between the buttons is being readjusted for that very reason (as well as making the button holes horizontal).
This is just a sample jacket made from spare linen our manufacturer had. So this colour probably won't be in the final line up (though we do actually really like it). We're probably going to have 4 colours - navy, indigo, tabacco brown, and something a little punchier like a burnt orange or deep mustard yellow. The next stage is to trial different linens. Out of interest, what colour would you want if you could have any?

Not right now, I'm afraid. We have no immediate plans for a raglan sleeve shirt but are big fans of them.
Next up is a hefty linen Chore Jacket which is in the final stages of development right now. We gave 25% off the Chore Jacket to the first five of our Founder Members to buy a shirt for Christmas and I'm happy to offer the same thing here. This is what it looks like right now (a few adjustments still to be made to collar).

Anyone have any experience of Timothy Everest trousers? I'm potentially lining up a pair of these:

The sweep of the small is 21 inches/53.5cm and the medium is 22 inches/56cm. It's worth bearing in mind that linen shrinks 3-4% in its first wash. They are designed to be relaxed, straight fit shirts.
We had measurements on the website but took them down because there was some confusion about how measurements are taken for men's casual clothing. We're in the middle of building a size chart with accompanying illustrations to show how we take each measurement.

A few members on here have taken advantage of LFGSS discounts already and I think they're enjoying their Flax London shirts. So, I thought I'd let you guys know I've made another code if you fancy buying a shirt/getting one as a present. You just need to use this code at check out:
LFGSS-FL
The headlines for those who haven't read my previous posts on Flax London. We make linen shirts that are designed to be worn all year round. They're 100% Irish linen and made in London. We use a thicker linen than you'd typically see in linen shirts - it's more opaque, full of texture, and hangs a little straighter. Can't attach pics annoyingly but we have a standard shirt, grandpa collar shirt, and long sleeve smock. You can see them all here.

They're both bang in my wheelhouse. Lagavulin slightly more rounded for me. Still chocker block full of peat though.
