Since it's just about finished, I thought I'd post a pic of the Waugh, mainly for Ricky and Tristan's benefit.....

I like it John.
Apart from the slot in the disc not lining up with the rear valve!
How does it handle?I recycled the wheel-discs from the old red bike from when I was running 700s. Valve access slot didn't line up that well when I pulled the cable-ties tight and I couldn't be arsed doing it again ;) What I did, instead, was to cut the slot wider for better access, but only on the NDS. If I was making new discs, I'd prolly have no valve access slots on the drive side at all.
Handling is pretty sweet apart from a small amount of wheel flop caused by slightly too much trail, which I'm gonna live with for now.

went down on thursday night to new court- it was packed.
had to find else where. went to exhibition park- all good for what was needed. 3 people turned out to play.elswick thrown in as an option for tomorrow as 1 of the few players in newcastle who actually plays can only make it out to play if by chance anyone else can make it up there is all...
Fair 'nuff
Still keen to play, but 'cos I have to drive 10 miles to get to polo, it's useful for me to know where I'm going. Will follow developments on the forum in the morning . -
spose to be ok there now..
Not sure I understand the thinking of going back there now that we've found a good court
if we go to tourney court it'll be better to be early to ensure games... another court in exhibition park which is decent...
I thought the point of going to the tourney court regularly was to have an established quality court, a place that people could be sure of finding us, to make it 'our new court'. Why change courts again now? Am I missing something?
I can probably make it for 1-ish

I wanted a fast, geared bike to accompany the two fixed gear bikes and the classic tourer that I already own, so I built this. Looking forward to a fast, fun summer, then a respray over winter.
