Hang on, so now even you're agreeing that the cost you've given for the tyres is 'not the general price'. I understand fine what RRP means, but lfgss isn't a shop and it looks a little like you're new to selling here or just taking the piss thinking you can justify a nearly 50% profit mark up on something that's widely available at a lower price. The bike's not a 'custom build', it looks a bit like you've put some random stuff together to make a few quid and now you're pissed as it's not going to plan. Looking at the at the lack of foot retention and random frame/component/tyre choices I'm guessing you maybe don't ride fixed yourself so the forum is gonna be a particularly tough/sceptical/downright unfriendly market place to crack. Anyway, glws.

I've bought two f&f's that I couldn't find anywhere else from him in the last two years.
The first time I did everything over the phone and this went super smoothly.
The second time more recently I did everything via email and I had a moment of panic as I didn't hear anything from him at all for about 5 days after I'd paid. I dropped him another 'friendly but slightly concerned' email and the f&f was hand delivered to my work place the following morning, but still slightly oddly without any communication.
I would echo what pretty much is said on every forum where this is discussed (...and it really is discussed a lot). If you want something from him it will go probably be fine BUT there is a chance that he will be erratic. If this isn't acceptable then simply don't buy from him.
It's definitely not the way I would choose to run my business. I also struggle a little that someone might be buying stuff from peer forums to turn round for a profit rather than for use themsleves, though I realise that this sounds woefully naive, However he often has hard to find stuff that I would need a fair bit of luck or time to otherwise source so as a customer I will continue to take the chance.

Firstly, I'm super impressed that people actually care about the environment! Next we'll be saying that we don't want global sportswear brands involved with bike polo...
There are two types of bleach. Chlorine bleach is a pretty toxic to the environment, so I really wouldn't recommend this. However you can also get oxygen bleach, which (if I remember correctly) breaks down into water, oxygen and some sort of harmless salt. You should be able to get this from a garden centre in the decking area. This, a bucket of water , a couple of stiff yard brushes and half an hour of scrubbing should make a difference.
Or you could just get a power washer.. (see post #7)

my face ran into a parked glass of whisky last night... carnage.
I'm still waiting on a reply from the Police, but can I expect to sue the persons that left it in such an irresponsible place where they knew that someone might be obstructed by it and how would I go about getting compensation for the reckless behaviour that ensued after it had passed through my face and out my urethra?
My bike seems to be ok but my liver, kidneys and cranium are experiencing all kinds of discomfort and although I'm suffering partial amnesia, I'm pretty sure that I was really messed up for a whole night because of the trauma and **I was taken advantage of by a person or persons hitherto unknown who took advantage of my diminished state to touch me sexually **then proceeded to leave chunks in my sink and a dirty pair of panties in my bathroom.
If anyone can offer advice on how to proceed I'd really appreciate it.
The OP took pics...

I confess I did smile when I first read this, but I also genuinely hope you're ok.
I'm afraid you're going to have to accept that you were at fault here and chalk this up as a painful and expensive lesson. To add insult to injury you might want to also prepare for the van driver to chase you for the costs of any damage to his van as you've already informed the police that you ran into him.
You'll have to excuse the somewhat unsympathetic response of the other forumengers above. No one round here as ever fallen off a bike because we've been stupid or careless so we struggle to understand when someone else has.

someone delete this
This is a forum for polo, not spouting peoples poloitical opinions. It is also a first place that people will look and it doesn't present a good image of the sport.
I'm seeing it in the polo forum, why is that?
Polotics suck! Lets all go do something better with our lives and stop spouting our bollocks opinions on the internet
Comedy genius...

Paddy and me (Brizzle) both got a Hija from the last batch just after Xmas. No problems with them that I can see so far and considering the price I think they're pretty impressive. Alejandro has also been good with his communication and I reckon if a rogue frame did slip through the net he would sort it out.

Are these just for Londoners or would you consider selling to more provincial types???
