My proposal for the ride starts at Leather Lane for coffee, chocolate and doughnuts. Then we'll ride across the river to Southwark Market to Monmouth, then to soho for Flat White, then Brompton Road to Troubadour.
To answer the questions, the Whitecross boys are in talks to come to Leather Lane, I'll ask them what they are doing on the 7th. If anybody has any suggestions for changes to the route, shout out, coffee is a very individual taste. Now, I suspect that not everyone will want a coffee at every stop, and there is capacity at these places, albeit we'll probably need to queue a while.
Now, Turkish? You fancy Algerian on Old Compton?

Hi Everyone,
Great to see such a great response. I'm trying to put together a good route map for the day and warn the appropriate coffee shops that we're coming.
Right, questions: I propose a start of 11 for 11.30am. I'll be there 10.30 for advanced coffee, chocolate and doughnut intake. We are developing an espresso mix that we can sell as 500g and 1kg bags. At present the roast is a little 'light' for my taste, I like a big full roast.
What is the opinion here?

Hi Everyone,
My name is Lawrence, and I’ve recently opened a café/cycle shop in the City of London, (Fullcity, 72 Leather Lane, E1). We set up to service the couriers and cyclists of London, and also to sponsor a number of rides starting in the city where we can caffeinate and pander to the sugar needs of wheelmen and women ready to ride.
The Lfgss admin emailed me to suggest an Espresso Ride on the 7th November from Leather Lane to the four (other) best coffee shops in town. Monmouth in Southwark Market, Flat White in Berwick Market and maybe Troubadour in the Brompton Road if any riders fancy a further leg warmer.
There will be stickers, spoke cards and T-shirt prizes for the most pretentious bike/inappropriately dressed for the temperature etc.
Then, we could go find a firework display, or am I being too much of a kid?
So, anyone up? -

Hey everyone, I hope the weather will be good on Saturday. There will be no charge at the start, however I have failed to entice the owners of the other coffee shops to follow suit.
