i dont understand how this will be lighter than a carbon bike. There are no weight weenie parts so it will just be the same weight as any roadie but with a steel frame. It looks like a good bike, just not very light.
My colleague is having the same doubts, but i assure you, if the weights of the parts are anything like the claimed weights, or even above - it still weighs under 8 kilos.
Pedals are off because manufacturer stated weights are rarely including pedals, so i want to weigh it in sand-pedals once its complete.

autocorrect? =))
Iphones.......
you're missing a down tube shifter. Weight saving?
Missing the lever boss cover so can't fit it yet - been searching for a good month with no success.
As heavy as my carbon giant with full SRAM Force and Ksyrium ESs :/
;)
Could you tell some more about that, weights etc. (kg's plz haha)
Setup would also be intersting, with those friction shifters and Sram crank.Mechs are shimano rx100 - will be upgrading to rival/force as and when.

^^ some massive saddle to bar drop, esp considering deep bar
is that final or are you just playing? =))It's not final. I haunt put pedals on so can't really dial in the fit yet. I'm keeping it high so I only mark the post where it's in the frame. Saves moving it up to reveal a ton of scratches.
Haunt weighed it properly bit it should be about 18lbs or 8 kilos.

I have and ultegra 6500 double chain set and 105 BB, (if it ever turns up in the post)
also FSA gossamer 50/34 compact double chain set for megaexo BB (used but good nick - might need a new big ring)
brand new Sram pg850 8 speed cassette (missing lock ring)
PM if interested -
BTW i'm also in dire need of 1" carbon forks - i have some (apparently rare as hell) Time Club Vectran/carbon forks with 151mm of threaded steerer that are too short, but damn sexy.

i have time 'club' VECTRAN (not really carbon - more like kevlar) threaded forks
steerer might be short at 151mm though
480g with a steel steerer so pretty light
