Got a very nice pair of vintage wheels going cheap, shiny MA2 clincher rims laced 36H to a Maillard large flange front and a low flange French rear, 6-spd close ratio block included. £50.
Currently QR but I have a new set of Decathlon security axles for a tenner.
Collect today if you like, SE1They seem nice but I really only need a rear, would you be willing to sell it on it's own?

Not for fixed, for a screw on freewheel. Non quick release if possible. Looking for something cheap, that's straight and true. For a geared commuter/beater.
Just thinking if anyones done a conversion recently they might have something like it lying around.
Ideally I can come and collect in london anytime this week.
Cheers

that is such a charming bicycle, well done. what size are the wheels?
something inside me shudders a little when i see a quick release lever on the drive side, dont know why.
i think the chainset looks fine. (plus so much less stress)700c, the front one was on it when I bought it, I don't think it's original to the bike though.

That Bob Jackson would make a fantastic 'rat' bike...
Definitely, Even with the damage to the paint/chrome I think it's still a beauty and would look good as is. Would be a shame to see someone powdercoat it or somesuch. Though If you had it restored properly (re-chromed then re-sprayed) It would cost a shitload. Shame that some one let it get to that condition. If it was two inches smaller I would have been tempted, great price.

As we're on the subject of decals, anyone know where to get British Eagle decals? I've tried all the usual subjects linked here to no avail. Failing that anyone got any images of British Eagle decals/headbadge etc, I can knock some up myself but google doesn't throw up much source material, and I'd rather save the time and just buy them.
Also, anyone seen a Reynolds 453 decal for sale?
Would this do:
