Balls, didn't realise the Track chainring is dished... Got to look at mine more closely next time... I use a 16 tooth freewheel, has anyone changed their chainring on a Fuji track and got any advice? I don't particularly want to change the bb and I'm not going to find a smaller freewheel, so is there anything in the 53 tooth range that anyone can recommend or want to get rid of? I have some stuff for swapping if you fancy on this thread:

Anyone work around Liverpool Street know of any good lunch time rides? Got to be able to fit getting changed, a fair amount of pace during the ride, a shower and getting changed again into one hour...
The problem I'm having is that all the roads around here are quite traffic and traffic lights heavy, so looking for a good circuit that I can get a bit of the old physical exertion thing going, any ideas?

I've got the front wheel from a 2010 langster on my 2009 fuji, nice and straight, goes found as expected...
The rear is the original and is squiffy, playing with a spoke tool, but it just seems a bit naf...
Also the hub keeps loosening up and jiggling, definitely on for an upgrade...
Down at critical mass, proper lots of cycling type chaps, lots of fun

They are definitely 26.0, and I'm already running a pair of chopped Fuji Track drops so I'll have to pass on them. I can meet tomorrow daytime if you want? PM me if you definitely want them.
Might give those bullhorns a miss, after something quite narrow, could be a good idea to chop down the drops I have... Thanks though, £5 is a good price

Got some cheap black bullhorns here if you're interested.
Sounds good to me if they're definitely a 26. Want to swap for the drops or after that fiver?

Getting rid of a few bits and pieces, due to upgrading/general cannibalisation.
Sugino Messenger 42t chainring (black, barely used) £20 ono
Tektro brake levers, pair (Stock on the 2010 Langster, un-used, slightly scuffed logo on one of them) SOLD
Stock Fuji track front wheel (used, 700 x 23c) £25 ono
Pair of Shimano brake levers (99% certain they are R600s) £15 ono
Send me a PM if you're interested in my little haul

Had a 2010 langster and it was pretty sweet, could be quite juttery over reasonably even ground though, going up the mall from trafalgar square would always leave me a bit jarred for instance... Could have just been the transition from a GT Zaskar with squidgy front forks though. I tried the plug as well when I got the langster and preferred the langster, felt more nimble, lighter and generally more fun to ride.

Bastardos! Some ruffian has nicked my 58 black 2010 Langster from outside Charing Cross hospital. They were kind enough to leave my front wheel (I'd locked it up all wrong...), but if anyone sees a Langster missing it's front wheel let me know!
Not too highly modded, changed the front to a silver 48t from the original 42t sugino, black BMX pedals, missing decal on left hand side top tube...
As the rozzers are unlikely to find it, any suggestions for a new build? Fancy putting a hack together, starting from scratch (I have a 700 front wheel to get me going!)

Grr, another nicked bike. My 09 Fuji Track was pinched from the yard outside my flat last night at about 11:30. Just got home, parked it up in the yard, and nipped to Londis on Commercial Road, 15 seconds away. I closed the 10 foot iron gate behind me, but it turns out the lock is more than a bit crap and opens pretty easily.
Got back 3 minutes later, bike gone. Helpful cabby who was parked outside said he saw 3 guys go into the yard and come out with it, making off east down Commercial Road. No sign of them though. Police have been informed, but I don't hold out too much hope...
