I don't drink any soft drinks but people who love diet coke if thats a vice that you pick up to soften the blow of a larger vice then fair enough in my opinion.
Alcohol, like anything in moderation is fine.
I tend to avoid the pre-made protein yoghurts as I find they have quite a lot of ingredients - but if you're in a pinch and want something low calorie to hit that sweet treat craving then they are fine.
Skyr itself is like 1 or 2 ingredients and for weightloss is great.

30g of nuts is like 200cals as long as you weigh it fine but if you just eyeball a handfull it could be 30-50g.
If I'm trying just specifically to lose weight then I think of foods which are high volume (skyr, leafy greens, cucumber, slaw etc) or lots of bites which help to feel full and increase protein for satiety. One of the reasons I like to eat with chopsticks is it means it takes longer to eat!
Also potatoes get a rough deal but are super filling, decently nutritious and more filling than bread/pasta for the calories.

Latest go to meal when looking for something quick, tasty and healthy.
Spicy Cucumber and cold chicken salad:
Half - a whole cucumber. cut in half and seeds taken out. I really like the mini cucumbers for this as they’re a little crispier.
I use a 32oz deli container - add cucumber, whatever chilli sauce you like, soy sauce, water, msg. Grate some ginger and garlic. Can add more things here. Shake vigorously.
I usually get one of those rotisserie chickens on an evening and part it into three. But also poach chicken just for this recipe. It really lives by the chicken being moist, so roasting or poaching is good for that.
Bag of salad leaves.
I’ll usually have one of those microwave packet rice and have 200g for dinner which means I have 100g of whole grain rice left over.
Combine all of the above and top with some spring onion, coriander and sesame seeds.Should be c. 350 cals

Are you planning on running a consistent deficit? 1k cals seems high but guessing thats bc of the cycling?
I had a bit of a blow out on Saturday - my flight home from the states was delayed 15hrs so our planned BH weeked in Norfolk was kiboshed. My mum instead came to London for the weekend. She looked after our daughter on Saturday. So we went for breakfast, lunch and dinner (+drinks). Which was lovely (less the hangover on Sunday). I managed to put on 7 pounds from Saturday morning to Sunday :/
And all gone and back to normal today

I always get some electrolytes in after a long run and protein of some kind. I’d also usually have a coffee. Shower and into something comfy. Little stretch but mostly keep moving and keep sipping on water. Then have something decent to eat - as I’ll have mostly eaten sugary stuff up to then. You’ll mostly be dehydrated and so just keep drinking

That EG jacket is easily my most worn item - super versatile. No idea why they stopped making them and annoyed I didn’t get it in Blue/black.
Heading home from a few days working in the states and honestly everyone here just seems to wear:
Sports polo
Three quarter zip (various materials)
Lululemon abc pants
On centre courtsI get that it’s hot but just seems so un-imaginative.

Damn this is speaking to me... do I just need to replace the whole setup now!
