just wonder if some brake pads (ceramic ones?) would be nicer to the anodised mechined braking surface?

While 7015 and 6061 aluminiums are common, "2014-t6" and "2014-T3" seem something new.

In some cases it is used on higher end products that 6061. Just wonder what it is in terms of material characteristics...

it's for a standard drop bar. dirt harry is fine, changed to Gran Compe for the supposedly 2 side option. turned out neither side is as good as dirt harry, and the long arm (right) blocks the front light.

now the dirt harry is already sold, so fancying other choices as well.

Looking for levers to go wtih Shimano 105 front brake, but not sure of the difference between BMX/mountain and spring-loaded/spring-less ones.
Recently switched from Diatech Dirt Harry to Dia Compe Gran Compe Shot Brake Lever but find the latter impractical.
