I'm 5'9", 76KG and still a large in pro team but the large goes almost to my kneecaps. Last year I got down to 70KG and thought I was safe to go medium, but no, achy balls.

I forgot it was state opening today, otherwise would have avoided Westminster. All the eastbound side roads in the area were closed - huge diversion, big stationary vehicles on narrow streets. Ended up backtracking and heading over Lambeth Bridge, then back across at Southwark to get involved in the City roadworks. Took an extra 30 minutes to get in, but much sun and cool breeze :)

Anyone done a Rapha Travel trip since they split from La Fuga? Some pricey holidays to be had...

Don't be put off by 'summer' - I use them on tempo rides from 8C up. I disagree with the reviews about the seams - you can feel them, but they're really soft, so not a problem.

Anyone more knowledgeable have any thoughts or opinions?

Also someone I know is frequently complaining on Strava about his Vectors going wrong or giving poor results on a ride.

I know someone in a similar position who had to have his handlebars very high to avoid those issues - abnormally high for a tourer and much higher than that Tifosi.

By the kitchen sink I have swarfega and Rapha soap. It's OK. Quite thick + long lasting, smells nice. Cannot remember how the soap appeared - probably on another drunken shopping rampage.

By the way - do your skin a favour and use Dermol 500 for post ride showers.

Hit a child on a BMX who was riding across a zebra crossing. I had enough vision to see people walking across but not enough to catch a tiny BMX going a bit quicker. No excuse + felt like an idiot. Normally more careful at crossings. Was going very slowly, neither of us fell off, no damage to us or bikes. He apologised, so did I.

6/10 would preferably not do again.

My 1000 has been playing up the past week or so. Did your problems coincide with a recent firmware update?

A vote for the Dakine Heli Pro. It has chest and waist straps, loads of pockets including one on the side of the waist strap which is perfect for keys. Has lots of auxiliary straps on the back - have used them to hold a wheel. The best part is nothing has broken or worn out on mine in over 8000 miles.
