I've got a raleigh in 531 steel, its 54 c-t and rides really nicely. I have it built up fixed at the moment but just waiting for a new frame to arrive and I will be transferring most of the bits over. It will be frame, fork, headset at least. can try and service the old BB and see if its ok, can also include brand new stem, new 40cm drops with new black tape. Got the cranks which are pretty good, seatpost which is a bit natty and can include a saddle. If you are interested I will be taking pics in the next day or two.

As per title, like them to drop a few cm from the stem (pursuit style) then have straight horns without a bend in the end if poss (though I could cut that off if the straight bit is long enough on its own. Not bothered about aesthetic condition as long as they are mechanically sound.
Any clamp size

Ok sourced a new frame so I have a 54cm Raleigh frame and fork with 531 tubes available in manchester.
Is set up fixed at the moment so happy for anyone to have a go on it should they wish. I love the way it rides, very smooth but nippy too and it has served me really well for about 4 years, its just time I sorted something that fit me a little better (I am 5'10" but it would suit someone 5'6" to 5'9" or someone my height who likes riding a smaller frame.)
Will try and get a pic up in its current form, I think it looks pretty good even with saddle high and long stem.
Will include old but functional (original) headset, natty sakae seatpost and any other bits and pieces I mentioned in post above that came off it.
Asking £75

Wanted:
56cm c-t 55-56 c-c, good quality steel, track bike or road bike suitable for fixed, condition of paint, decals etc not important.
Would consider swap for my 54cm square 1991 raleigh, 531 tubes, fairly scruffy light blue paint and peeling decals.
For sale:
16t cog, good condition £7
chopped + flopped white bars with matching quill stem, pretty tatty but functional £10 the pair.
Shimano "exage" rear brake caliper, front and rear leavers + front and rear derailluers and down tube shifters 12 speed, well used but functional could do with new jockey wheels on rear derailluer £15 the lot.
Shimano "biospace" (weird shaped chainrings)chainset, cranks good, chainrings very worn £free.
6 speed rear wheel off the same bike, old and pretty knackered but functional, served me well for years, true to about 2mm i reckon. £5 -

After everything needed to convert my old raleigh to fixed, cheapish reliable stuff wanted really as its just for a commuter/beater that will be locked up in all sorts of dodgy places, will consider paying a little more for quality though as I can't resist.
Fixed rear wheel or wheelset (these should be strong and true, nothing too fancy, non-deep V preferred and only rear is essential but will consider a set)
Chainset with 48t chainring and 165mm cranks
16 or 18t sprocket
chain
spacers
Anything I've forgotten?Thanks.

Hi, I need basically everything to convert my old racer to fixed so looking for:
Fixed rear wheel or wheelset, something solid and true but not too fancy and preferably not deep v's (prefer it not to look fancy)
Rear sprocket and spacers
Chainring and cranks, maybe a BB as well
Chain
Anything else I have forgotten?
Cheers.

Hi guys, new to this forum, so hi.
Looking for some bits to build a fixie;
Pretty much starting from scratch so
55-57 cm good quality steel frame
Fixed wheelset
everything elseNot bothered about scratches and rust etc. Not looking for anything fancy or hip, just mechanically sound and fast.
I might consider buying a whole bike if the price is right, or swapping for my light blue 12 speed Raleigh strada, its reynolds 531 with flopped and chopped bars and a red continental front tyre. I might have been seen riding like a tosser round south manchester for the last 12 months or so.
Cheers

Erm, hi, I don't actually have a bike right now so this is kinda weird. My stupid slut of a flatmate brought two guys back to our house, one of them got lucky, the other went home on my bike...
Just moved to manchester and I'm looking to build a fixie on the cheap, doesn't have to look like a japanese concept car but should be solid, reliable and nice to ride. Get in touch if you live nearby and you got any parts you can spare me.
I'll be posting on the Manchester forum too as soon as im out of nursery or something...
Still have it, would love to get rid before 1st of august as moving house. you can give me a ring or text on O7432144O13 if you want to arrange pick up.
SATOIV - I will give you a ring about the frame etc this afternoon if I get a chance.
