I have tried to shift these frames before but failed, dropped the prices by 30% and put them on the main page with some pics which I have to thank user invisiblecolour for taking when he was round viewing one of them:

@snottyotter - I think I have sorted a bike for my friend, another friend has one in his basement that sounds just about right.

A couple of frames have to go to make room and £'s for a new project, apologies about the pics, there a few more available but they are of similar quality:
Green lemond filmore F+F 58cm seat tube c-t 56cm top tube c-c
£65 - £60+ postage SOLD
Also have a Raleigh Strada F+F, with 531 tubes. 54cm seat tube c-t 54 top tube c-c.
No name, worn but working headset included. Paint and decals are original but not in great nick, bottom brack was stuck and cost me £35 to have heated up and removed by LBS so shell is a bit blackened. Again this has rack/guard eyelets. I rode this for more that 3 years and loved it but it was always too small so eventually had to move on.

Thanks for the input guys, I have a bit of news.... I have agreed to buy a 2013 Shimano Sora groupset! Now allow me a few lines to defend myself:
Firstly, the groupset is new and only costing me £120, I can pick it up in locally aswell saving on any postage. Also the 2013 group has got proper up and down paddles behind the levers instead of the little thumb tab which is a bonus.
Secondly I owned a raleigh for 4 years with an old Sora groupo before it got nicked, I was lazy and clueless and never even cleaned it or tuned it, rode it most everyday and it was still going strong when it was taken.
Thirdly, it will get me on the road quickly, I should be able to ride it by middle of january instead of having to wait for a few more paydays. It will give me time to save enough to buy the groupset that this bike really deserves, perhaps this time next year, and with the sora being low geared (50/34 and 12/28) i will be able to whip it off and put it onto my fixed gear commuter to transform it into a touring bike if/when I need.
I still feel a bit guilty, but this frame could last 20 years so will see many different set ups in that time.

I would like to build a ratty commuter/shopping/tourer, I thought I had the perfect frame for this which is a v-light but very scuffed and superficially dented frame, but since building into my daily commuting fixed, I have found there is serious toe overlap (which i assume would be a pain when touring with heavy loads) and that it is probably a cm or two too small so may have to find something else. Would love to go with a hub gear but not 100% sure.

Going to try out some grouppos this weekend.
Looking on Ribble today though and if you spend £100 before the 21st of Dec you can get £50 of a groupset in January. They currently have Campy Khamsin wheelset for £103, which has great reviews, could then get a Veloce group for £300 and would just need contact points and would be good to go. Doing my sums it seems even buying second hand bits I will end up spending pretty much the same amount so I'm tempted! Any thoughts, sound like a good deal?

Fair enough, I probably should, I have done similar with outdoor and climbing gear before though and I go all red and fidgety because it feels dishonest. I guess I will just grin and bear it knowing that in the end it will mean a bike that suits me better in the long run.
How do you feel about buying a full new low end groupo e.g. veoloce or apex, as opposed to building it up second hand. I don't mind spending the time finding good deals if it means I will get a genuinely better bike for the price at the end of it.

Ok, looking to build up this Casati Road bike for £500 give or take.
http://www.lfgss.com/thread97078.html
It will be used mostly for solo rides around the peak district, and the odd bit of fair weather commuting. Would like to get the best possible bang for my buck the priorities being durability and longevity, then weight.
Probably going to go for a compact chainset as mostly solo and up and down hills in the peak. Considering new Campy veloce groupset or SRAM Apex but also considering building up a mix of second hand parts to get the best possible value. Would prefer all silver to suit the frame but ultimately value for money wins, and it seems to me SRAM parts are the cheapest second hand especially.
I won't unfortunately get the chance to test out the groupsets and decide which one suits me best as I don't really have any friends who ride on the road and I am not cheeky enough to pretend i am going to buy a bike so I can try a bunch out.
Wheels I was considering Campy Khamsins, available for just over a ton, V-sprint Mach1 on Mich road wheels £119, or heavily reduced Shimano rs30's for £130.
Looking for advice on all of the above options. Thanks for reading!

Will be interested to see how this builds up. I am going to be building a Casati Ellisse Due, made from columbus Neuron from a similar era as your Allez. Building it with with modern kit as my road bike and fair weather commuter. Probably looking at similar gearing and second hand but good condition kit like yourself. It is my first road bike in a few years and not decided whether to go with Campy, shimano or sram yet.

That sounds like it might be perfect for her then, the cheaper the better really. Have a quick look and let me know about any problems caused by the water or anything else and I will get in touch with her. I think she is viewing something off gumtree this weekend as well mind.
Where abouts do you live?
-
Don't think she fancies a SS, and £200 would be too much for her right now I reckon.
@snottyotter - It would be great if you could have a quick look at the bike in your basement and let me know what it might need to get it on the road, also size would be great, she is about 5'10".

[QUOTE=SatoIV;3058302]Anybody have any frames for sale?
Road, Steel (501-531 etc) or Alu, 54-58cm?Hi mate, I actually still have that 54cm 531 raleigh, sorry about not replying to your last text but been mega busy moving house so I meant to respond to it later but it ended up getting lost in my inbox. The frame is still in Chorlton but locked up in someones garage, if you still want it we could work something out, if you have decided its definitely too small thats fine and I will stick it back on the market.

Hello, my name is Taba and I will be mostly riding a racing green Lemond Fillmore frame with black deepish wheels, risers, front brake and pink toe straps.
Just started riding fixed about a month ago. Commute between Chorlton and Old Trafford but moving soon, and can be seen sometimes on deansgate on my way to the climbing wall rljing like a knob.
Not too sure about Polo, I do a lot of other sports and work till late most days but would give it a go. Would be very interested in doing some alleycat races though, if that sort of thing happens in our town?
They are track dropouts, 120mm wide, they have the usualy scratches and paint worn off as normal but no damage. That is true for the whole bike, there isn't a dent or ding on it, just superficial damage. Would look great with a decent paint job.
Here is a poor shot of the dropouts, and also a shot of the bike fully built up over the summer. apologies about the quality once again.
