I got a reasonable answer back from Addison Lee re my complaint re the video on the previous page of this thread- "In line with our internal disciplinary procedure, the driver has subsequently been interviewed by our Driver Liaison team and the footage has been watched.......[FONT=Verdana]Details of this incident and the disciplinary have been added to the drivers file and he will closely monitored for several months. I think this is the one you mean - http://www.lfgss.com/thread46872.html
I don't know about the police, but I think Addison Lee need to know for starters.
Funny how it's the so called professional drivers who are so often the worst... -
I got cut up by an Addison Lee cab on the way home tonight...
Addison Lee considerate driving on Vimeo
...am I being a wuss or is this worth complaining about? It was a bullshit move, but is it dramatic enough that anything will happen as a result? I don't know if folks have had much joy with Addison Lee drivers getting any kind of come back from their crappy driving.
The clip starts at the lights leading from Parliament Square toward Westminster Bridge. I'm in the middle lane as I am going to take the bridge rather than turn left onto Victoria Embankment, so correct road positioning imo, and I don't think I'm holding anyone up so much that this move is in any way justified. The Addison Lee Cab is either in the same lane as me or in the right hand lane. Either way, his journey has far more importance than my safety. Sure, he's indicating, but that's no good to me. And his driving made me say a bad word.
In other news, the camera I'm using is an Oregon Scientific ATC5K. I don't particularly recommend this as it's pretty unreliable - lots of file errors meaning that plenty of what gets filmed is lost. And the attachments are quite disappointing - the handlebar mount is ok (though lots of jolting obviously as you can see) but the helmet mounts are no use, at least not if you are using a BMX style helmet and a helmet mount is far better than a static handlebar positioning. Peh. -

Chap, I have this one

It's a right angle but depending on the head tube angle it is a bit riserish.
Can lend it to you when we meet up tomorrow if you want to try out. -

I bought a Steve Thornhill frame from hilarystone on here a while back and was interested in finding out more about the man and his work. Anyone any ideas? Googling hasn't brought much up, nor classiclightweights etc... Midlands frame builder as far as I can see, but not much more detail.
The frame kinda needs a respray which I will do come winter rather than let crimes against steel occur, but that would mean curtains for the decals, which I doubt I can replace. -

With Bagaboo you can get any design on it so you can get something unique to your tastes. Not sure if other manufacturers do something that bespoke.
I find the strap that goes over the right shoulder isn't terribly comfy as it is too close to the neck but I may be doing something wrong. Anyway, it isnt essential to use. -
