Cheers for all the input. The kit's on its way now, so I'll just have to wait and see, but the guy from the shop was really cool about sending it back if it didn't fit. We exchanged photo's and measurements, but you can never tell until your fingers are oily!

Cheers, will do! It'd be good to use a singlespeed cog rather than ramped as I'd rather not be forced to use a chain tensioner... If I'm honest, mainly for vanity reasons! I'm always pretty careful about keeping my chain as tight as possible though.

Yeah, I found this one (8th down the list on the link). although because Campag change their systems from time to time it won't fit all hubs. Just ordered mine, fingers crossed...

If it doesn't fit I'll take apart the 8 speed cassette that was on it, use the 16T cog and place 2 larger cogs either side to stop the chain derailing. Gotta love a bodge-job!

Hi, I just got myself a rear carbon tubular off eBay, it’s got a campag hub and currently has an eight speed cartridge sitting on it. I ride a single speed so will get a Campag Single speed conversion kit for it, but just wondering if I’d need to change my chain and chain ring to match, or will it be ok as it is?

Also if anyone has an opinion on which conversion kit is best, or thinks I'll need to do anything else other than switch to carbon brake pads to make this baby run, I'd be interested to know.
