Cheers, yeah when times were simpler and all I had to worry about was building sweet fixies. I sold Les as a full build to @shinkuu_kiss , he started a thread and his first photo is just about as it was when I finished it (think he changed the saddle can’t recall)

7800 chainset with 44t race face narrow wide, scrap 11 speed XT mech, SLX 10 speed shifter, deore 10 speed 11-46 cassette
Shimano fibbed when they said 10 & 11 speed MTB wasn’t compatible.
Cheapest option is deore 10 speed you can do 11-42 or 11-46, 11 speed deore you can do 11-51.
Saeco CAAD would make a great FBRB.

Facebook is fucking impossible to manage these days, such a mess . Can’t nuke you because you’re not there. Can’t hide the group because it glitches. Can’t stop people joining the group because Facebook have changed how admin works so can’t stop the notifications. You’re on the train the fuckberg and there’s no getting off.

Super C is a great size for daily use. It is big though as @King_Saxlingham observes. I think the big bike makes it look smaller than it is.
@JimmyAl Restrap fast straps which after much experimenting seem to be the best for it due to the grippy nature of the hyperlon
@withered_preacher rattle rattle donk better than the sag

As mentioned, you can stiffen them with plastic. I put a flat base in mine which helps but someone on here worked out you could bend it and tuck in under the batten to form a U shape which really helps support the bag and keep its shape.
Have to say I’ve got a classic carradice, Nelson I think, which I hate using , the buckles are a pita. Super c is so much easier to live with

Yeah surly run straight steerers on quite a few 44mm head tubes doesn’t look as bad as you would think. I do have a Fyxation carbon fork that I originally bought for it but didn’t end up using which has various mounts.
Think it’s 2014, the original Fugio, geo charts seem scarce.
