The Chain on my new bike (bianchi Pista) is supposed to be 1 1/8th so i went to my local shop to get a 17tooth 1 1/8th instead of the 16 thats on there. When i fitted the cog i put the wheel back on and put the chain onto the cog and the chain wouldnt sit on the cog properly, only about 3 of the teeth would sit in between the links and the others were sitting on top of the teeth. Have they given me the wrong size or is my chain a 3/32.

I'm thinking of coming upto London next weekend or monday to buy a new frame and all the bits to build it up, including wheels or the parts to build the wheels up.
Please can some of you nice people on here point me in the direction of some good shops that mainly deal with all things fixie, or areas where there are a good choice of shops. -

Thanks for all the comments guys I'm pretty happy with it for my first conversion/build.
Parabellum
To remove the braze-ons i ground the tops off with a small angle grinder, leaving a small amount of them still on the frame so that i didnt go to close to the frame and damage it. With what was left of them i then filed off by hand. -

How many of you people out there are running fixed and have not got a perfect chainline? Have you had any problems if it is'nt perfect?
