As my bike has been stolen and I really doubt it will be retrieved, I am currently in need of a new one.

Nothing fancy as my financial situation won't allow it, but still something decent!

I had a classic Dutch bike for ages until that completely gave up on me and then I had great new £500 bike that got nicked by some cunt.

I am looking for anything that strikes my fancy, and I am particularly interested in a fixed gear bike, although preferably with straight handlebars.

I used to go to school about 5 minutes from the main Gazelle factory when I was a child, oh how I wish I could buy great cheap bikes instead of getting ripped off here in London.

Euhm yeah hi.

Have been lurking here for a while, but as I do not ride any of the super-awesome-sweet-bikes you people do, I did not find it worthwhile to post here. Until some complete arse stole my bike and left me in rather quite a bit of despair as I saved up ages to be able to afford myself a sweet ride.

Saying that, I am actually from Amsterdam so I guess I should be used to having bikes stolen, doesn't ease the pain even the tiniest bit though.

Hi man, I am working the night before till 3 am, so I am not sure, but I will try to make it there rather early and camp it out all day before I start work again at 6.

Sorry to hear man, I had my brand new Marin Belvedere stolen from my house in Stratford, I also did not lock it as I am of (or rather was) of such good faith that I was sure no-one would dare take it.

I was proven wrong, checked Gumtree and banged on the doors in my (5) apartment building.
I shall be camping out Brick Lane myself as well on Sunday.

Especially sour as I only bought it 4 weeks ago and was still awaiting money to be able to afford insurance.
