Its the nut on the neck that's missing. Just to add, it doesn't look like its been played very much at all and is in great condition for a 40 yr old guitar. Still in two minds what to do so am going to fond out how much to repair.

I think its a smaller Large. Tried some other Carhartt jackets on and they seem to vary in Largeness depending on the style-some L's larger, some L's smaller. 55cm outside pit to pit based on measuring with zip up...don't know if thats correct way of measuring...

Siberian Parka -Large-, bought from somebody from lfgss in May, never worn it as its a bit small for my bulk.
