This is absolutely hysterical but on a serious note I can think of two reasons why this may have escalated into violence:
- People who do tricks on fixies really are pricks.
- People who do tricks on fixies know about their reputations as being pricks and attempted to do something about being teased using the same brains that decided doing tricks on fixies is cool.
- People who do tricks on fixies really are pricks.

apology not accepted. thanks for your comment redrum, but fuck you.
anybody who knows me on here knows my bike background, so i won't justify it to you. fyi i am doing everything by myself at the moment, which, if you have ever done any kind of project, you would know is a lot of work. I am also a full time editor as my day job. and as i mention in the post, i have the content sorted, but i won't say what i have on this forum.
if you are going to comment, please be more constructive. how very dare you make unfounded presumptions about my work ethic. i shall have to wait and see what proportion of your particular brand of single-minded cynicism is mirrored by other forum users.
Owing to the first line of this post, I would gladly work for you for free nay bother although (technically) I am a man. My spelling is grate and my punctuation: is perfect.
I could send you a CV showcasing my laudable credentials but fear I would be just another victim of sexism in the workplace which I abhor sweetcheeks.

Bass related lameness: I bought myself a decent wall hanger for £15 from Denmark St this weekend so my bass can stop falling over all the time but as an afterthought I sent this email to the manufacturer:
*Hello,
I just bought the above model from a local shop and it comes with the fittings for a solid brick wall which I intend to put it up on.
It's probably a silly question but could you confirm that this will support an electric bass guitar weighing 16 pounds as I bought it from an acoustic guitar shop.
Thanks in advance,
'Me.'*
And I got this reply this morning:
Hi 'Me',
Yes the stand will hold your electric bass, however for safety’s sake I’d suggest longer screws and good quality rawl plugs.
I use one of these hangers for my treasured Gibson Les Paul(which I’m sure you are aware is a heavy guitar) and with better fixings its been fine. Not to say the provided fixings won’t do the job, but ‘just in case’……So what the fuck does that mean? Er, yeah but no but.
