As the river meanders, for a while, (from hammersmith bridge to putney) it runs North to South. That's the bit that's being re-done. And yeah, as you said- it should be ready just in time for summer! :)

Just a quick post to let anyone in and around the Hammersmith area that the large path following the river on the East side, South from Hammersmith Broadway-ish is being re-paved on a massive scale.

Some really decent long fast parts too, not to mention beautiful scenery, some fairly decent (although somewhat pricey) pubs, and the smell of rotting riverbed... mmmmmmmmmmm... what's not to love?

Hey everyone, I was watching this clip on youtube (YouTube- Macaframa - OFFICIAL Fixed Gear Trailer in HD
) and in the very first introductory scene, the dropdowns that this guy is riding caught my eye.
they're not normal ones as you will be able to see, their whole body being in this graceful sort of curve.
I'm desperate to get my hands on some- anyone have any they'd want to sell me or even know of somewhere I could get my hands on them? I've just scoured eBay to no avail...
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated!

This is just a quick one if anyone has any advice-

I have just taken off my handlebar grip tape as a want to go bear metal, but because it was adhesive, it's left this sticky, nigh on impossible to remove residue...

Does anyone have and tips on how to get rid of it so that I can have my bars shining good as new in as little time as possible?

(My bars are aluminium. Don't know if that's a relevant bit of info, but I'll just thow it out there.)

what's wrong with just keeping things simple- thank god i'm not the only one thinking that unless you're racing in a velodrome this just looks ridiculous!

may consider this... i definitely need to get out of west london and explore the east-side at some point!
