I might be interested in buying the lens off you. I know it's a trade but I only have my 979 André Bertin.

Camera is pretty good. Though at night time, it's like you're on ACID relaying back to the video. Trippy stuff. The shutter drops quite significantly so you get motion trails from mainly the lights.

All in all It's worth the cash! Keep in mind not to place it on the bars, as Philxthomas mentioned, not a good idea. Although you may be a steady rider, the slightest move just throws you off. (Obviously)

I did actually buy one from eBay because I needed it as soon as. No strap though, so I used an elastic band. Sorry Singspeed.

Thanks BM. Yeah decided to save myself the cash and swap the clips over. Feels much nicer than the plastic ones.

Will have to try soaking them up one weekend and give it another shot. Hopefully it will work because I really would like to swap to the 600's as they are more shiny fresh. :)

(This might be badly written/explained because I'm at work, in a rush to write this.)

So struggled to get my old Shimano 105 pedals off last night, after wanting to replace them with the 600's. Took my bike to my LBS. The guy struggled too.

So, pedals are near enough impossible to get off without damage, as I've been told.
He said that there are some long procedures that might make it possible to do with heating etc, or something like that.

Anyway, will have to replace the cranks in order to get to use my other pedals.

Now, the question is... Do I?

He said it was not recommended to cycle with old Aluminium Cranks as they can eventually snap?

The main reason why I wanted to replace my pedals is because my plastic clips are very worn, and I wanted to replace these with metal ones, and decided to go for an entire swap.

It will cost £60 for a shiny Shimano crank set.

Do I? Or don't? I feel it's not worth it at the moment.

105's & 600's ar every similar. So I can just swap over the clips anyway...

fuuuuuuck. I spent a couple of days searching for the Shimano 600's pedals & clip.
Ended up in a bid war on ebay and got them for £45 inc postage.

In need of metal toe clips as my plastic ones are due for the bin. Finding it hard to find metal ones. Tried eBay, not much luck.

Anyone got any knowledge in the Job Seekers Allowance area?
My partner's claim has been stopped, because she couldn't attend the sign in due to being stuck out of London. She spoke to someone about giving proof that she was out of London and the lady said that it’s not necessary to give proof. Now they have made the decision that her reason for not attending is not good enough! What the hell? Stopping the claim a week before Christmas is not right. Now she can’t afford to get anything.

My ride is actually almost twice as fast going by canal rather than roads.
25 mins via canal
25 mins by car
45 mins via road
80 mins by tube

What is a 15 minute cycle from Highbury to Mile End turns out to be 40 minutes along the canal in my experience. Just because of being considerate to the walkers. Still go down the canal though regardless.
