:D
I loved it the moment I brought it last year after using the free trail.- When the free trial was up, I was like, begging for mercy... "NOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooo" - then realised it was worth buying, heh. I never got on with swype.I actually think they've engineered some pixie dust into it. It's learning more as I use it and I don't think it will be long before the phone replies to the wife without even telling me...

Folks,
I'm selling my Black Brooks Swallow Titanium saddle. It's approximately a year old and has done a couple of thousand miles. It's in good condition but does have two small scuffs on the leather.
Comes with the spanner thingy, rain cover and a tub of proofide.
New price - £100 + Postage
You can see it mounted here, but I will get a better pic of it later on tonight.

Swiftkey 4 lyf. Re-installed it on the Sensation from Xperia.
It's awesome. I've never used it before but it learns even my cack handed approach to typing (read mashing the keyboard with stumpy thumbs) and the auto correction is godlike... I even managed to compose a readable text message to the wife just hitting space repeatedly and choosing the suggested words :)
£0.10 well spent.

Hardware wise they're quite similar. The screen on the nexus is larger, the nexus is a bit heftier to hold but feels like a higher quality piece of kit.
They key difference really is the user experience. As with all Nexus products you're getting the true android experience. With the SGSII you're getting Samsungs version of it, bundled with samsung apps, samsung management software and samsung launcher.
Which you prefer is down to you though... YMMV
I'm happy with my SGSII and can flash Cyanogenmod if I want AOSP, samsung free android. I would prefer the build of the Nexus though.

only seemed to work after flashing cm7 then flashing ICS
Chap at work tried to update his HTC somethingorother to an ICS/MIUI rom and had exactly the same issue. He was stuck in a boot loop and had to flash the previous MIUI rom and then the ICS based version to get it working.
Might be worth trying if anyone is intent on trying the most recent ICS rom and suffers the same fate.

The reader uses an eink display which uses no power unless it's changing pages. This means battery life can last for weeks, or thousands of page turns. It is a dedicated device for reading books which weighs nothing and, frankly, is awesome. You also get the option of free 3G connectivity to download books from most countries very easily.
Running the kindle app on a tablet gives you the facilities of the kindle store but the management headache of a tablet. 8 hour battery life, Android and glare in direct sunlight.
My family are all ebook crazy. Wife and son prefer kindles. Mother prefers kindle, father prefers iPad running kindle app. I've had all of them and sold them because I read on my phone as it's always with me but reading on a kindle is definitely nicer than reading on a phone/tablet.

Excellent ebook reader in VGC, comes with USB cable, Sony book style case and (much nicer) Tuff Luv leather flip up case. Reader has onboard memory and is expandable using Memory Stick or SD cards.
More details about the PRS-505 are available here:

IMO the best software to use for managing this device (in fact, any compatible reader including the kindle) is calibre. It's free, and available from http://calibre-ebook.com
£55 inc special delivery to your door.

As new Amazon Kindle 3G with charger, Amazon leather case and (much nicer) Tuff Luv saddleback leather flip case. I have boxes for the kindle and the Amazon case but not the Tuff Luv.
£100 inc special delivery.
Please note - the boxes have a tear strip which has to be ripped open to get at the kit so you couldn't pass it off as brand spanking new if that was your plan!

Yet another of my no-longer-used bicycles needs to go to make space for a new build!.
The (2009) Uno is a single speed folding bicycle with a coaster brake which is designed to be super simple. I've converted it to a fixed gear bike running a 52x13 ratio (74") although I have a spare 14 tooth sprocket which brings the gear ratio down to approx 70". Chain line is 3/32" to match the original. The new wheel is fixed/fixed so you could run 13 and 14 tooth sprockets on it if you so wished.
I had a new rear wheel built so converting it back to a single speed with the coaster brake is just a matter of swapping rear wheels (although the coaster fitted wheel needs two new spokes).
You will get the bike, currently fixed-gear, the coaster rear wheel, SKS mudguards, some new Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres (spares, hardly used as I didn't like them as much as the currently equipped Schwalbe Marathon Racers), and I might even have a spare inner tube too!
Please note, this bike has been used for commuting for over a year and is therefore definitely used. There are a few cosmetic scratches on the frame, and the integrated seatpost / track pump has a few scratches from the seat tube on it as well.
It is, however, in good working order (although the chain could use a clean) and I have recently replaced the front brake pads.
I'm in the Cambridge area but willing to travel to assist with collection, or if necessary could ship

It's time for me to sell my 2009 Airnimal Chameleon Ultra. This superb bike was my daily commuter for a year when working in London but now that I have a job closer to home it doesn't get used at all.
It's a 2009 model in Titanium and it's the 56cm frame. Sizing is available here:
http://airnimal.eu/Images/Chameleon/ChameleonDetail.jpg
These bikes fold, but they certainly don't feel like a folder when you're riding them. You do pay for that come time to fold though. They don't fold as neatly as a Brompton, but they do fold small enough to go on a train (which mine did daily) and even the tube on occasion!
Spec is as follows:
Aluminium frame with carbon fork
FSA crankset 53/39
Ultegra Brakes
Ultegra STI shifters
Ultegra Front Derailleur
Ultegra Rear Derailleur
Shimano 11-23T 10 speed cassette
Stem, bars and post are Pro LT Aluminium
Headset is Canecreek S3 1 1/8"
Gearing is 38 - 108 gear inches.
Elastomer is firm. Now for the extras!
Currently this bike is configured as a fixed gear running a ration of approximately 70 gear inches. To do this I had a new rear wheel built with a White Industries ENO eccentric rear hub which is a flip flop fixed / free single speed hub. This is matched to a 1/8" chain line and a new 1/8" chainring. The hub is awesome and adjusting chain tension is easier on this bike than on my main fixed gear bike. You simply pull the wheel backwards and the elliptical hub rotates around the axle until you find your perfect tension.
if you want to convert it back to it's Ultegra equipped glory all you need to do is swap rear wheels, bolt on the old chain ring, chain, derailleurs, rear brake and STI shifters, all of which are included in the sale. You will need to buy new cables though as I'm confident that I don't have the full set still!
Currently it's running Shimano SPD pedals which are my pedal of choice If you don't want them I am sure I can find a use for them somewhere :)
Tyres are nearly new Schwalbe Durano 23-520.
The bike is also fitted with the worlds comfiest saddle, a Brooks Swallow Titanium railed piece of heaven.
This bike has been well loved and maintained, but it has also been used, and as a result the frame does have a few scratches on it but nothing that you wouldn't expect on a bike which has been used daily.
I'm in the Cambridge area but happy to travel to assist with collection, or it can be shipped if necessary.

Yes/No. You can use Titanium to back up your user and/or system data with titanium but you it's not the same as a complete system backup. If you use the backup system integrated into CWM (called a nandroid backup) then it does a backup of your complete OS including apps and state information, and it does it from outside of the OS so it's complete.
You can wipe your system and with three clicks totally restore it using a nandroid backup.

I doubt it would work on your SGS2. Having read the instructions it scared the crap out of me. I'd stick with CF Root.
Out of interest, why are you trying to root your phone? If it's to allow you to update your rom to a new OS version then I would seriously recommend that you use CF Root because you will want to use the utilities that come with CWM to back up your phone before changing rom.
if you were fixed at the rear you wouldn't need a rear brake... Go on, treat yourself! :)
