The clearout continues:
Up for sale is a black dutch step-through bicycle I bought new earlier in the year to ride and try to get my girlfriend into cycling. It looks lovely and is great to ride but unfortunately has been gathering dust for at least 6 months.. time for it to go.
The bike is originally from Holland. It is single speed with hub front/rear brakes (handle for front, back pedal for back), single speed. It has a working dynamo for the front & rear lights.
It is in very good condition, as you'd expect having only been ridden for about a month from new. The only problem with it is that the spokes in the rear wheel have slackened a bit and it needs to be trued, as it developed a slight wobble. But thats no big issue. I started to disassemble it to do it myself (that's why the chain guard is off in the picture) but then thought why bother when I'm just going to sell it anyway. Its pretty dusty and would benefit from a look over by someone in the know (there are some specialist things that need checked, eg tyre pressure)
Also it must be mentioned that there are no pedals provided. Also no bell. You would need to provide the bell yourself. This is a must have for any true dutch bike.
Feel free to come over and check it out/buy it at my place in shoreditch. Though it has no pedals so you'd have trouble test driving it. But you can push it around all you like.
All for the very nice price of £125. SOLD
I must mention that first in with the money gets it. Cash on collection I mean.
