For Sale Used Folding Bike Dahon Vybe C7A. 7 speed
£140This is a fully working folding bike I bought in late 2014. I do not need it now and it has had fairly little use (max 300 miles use).
Brakes, gears, folding and unfolding mechanism all work fine.
A few scratches on the seat stays and generally around the paintwork but cosmetic only. Seat post scratched around where it fits into frame.
Missing plastic clear cover to the grip shifter gear indicator, 1-7 speed.
Still got reflectors, bell. Tyres and tubes all good, 20inchThere's a few white dots around the paintwork and on the grips, not really visible from 2m+ distance (someone was spray painting in the shed without covering the bike)
This is a video link of how it folds (video shows newer model but mechanism is the same).
Pick up only please, either from SW6 or from KT1
Cash on collection thanks

hello.
getting myself a new one of these for the commuter:
shimano sf mx30
question is, shall I open bearing cover and pack with more grease or leave as is?
I know some say this is a good thing to do with cartridge bearings, but these are free balls.
would grease help, or just contribute to general accumulation of cack stopping the pawls from engaging properly??
would be good to hear some views, knowledge.
Thanks in advance! -

ONE HERE> Dear Mr [Fuego],
Thank you for contacting Mr Helmer regarding the EP Written Declaration
81 on improving road safety.I can confirm that Mr Helmer will be signing Written Declaration 81, in
a bid to improve road safety.Kind regards

Assistant to
Roger Helmer MEPNOT ONE HERE>
Thank you for your message about Heavy Goods Vehicles and their inability
properly to detect other traffic such as cyclists. This would seem to lead
to a high proportion of accidents and fatalities which reliable sources
place at 14% of fatal collisions. It is a problem that needs to be resolved
and the technology is available. However, I do not sign Written Declarations because they call on the
Commission to take action. This is totally unsatisfactory for me ,and
indeed most UKIP MEPs, because the Commission has not been elected by
anyone. We prefer all legislation to arise from elected Members of
Parliament because being elected means that they are accountable to the
people. The whole thrust of UKIP's policy is to remove the UK from the EU
so that our laws are made where they should be made, at Westminster. Our
MPs are much closer to the people than MEPs because we cover such a wide
area and because we have limited access to the Commission.Since we are in the EU our own Government has given up and we now have 75%
of our laws forced on us by the EU. Out of the EU we could press our MPs to
introduce the necessary legislation for our Truck Drivers. Since good ideas
always spread, then this will find its way across Europe and blind spot
fatalities would reduce. Please think about the vast wealth of technical
innovations which have arisen over the centuries and which passed across
political boundaries without there being any kind of EU or Commission
involved. In fact, the EU stands in the way of progress because all such developments
generated by the EU are immediately submerged in so much bureaucracy and red
tape as to reduce their effectiveness. Please support UKIP in trying to restore proper accountability to
Westminster.Yours sincerely
Derek Clark MEP

Done- response from 1 so far:
Thank you for the message, Mike.
Certainly, I will sign it.
Please bear in mind that it is only the equivalent of an Early Day Motion in the House of Commons, so that it has no legal effect at all. But if it obtains the signatures of a majority of the European Parliament's 736 MEPs (all nationalities) then it will show that the parliament wants the EU's executive body, the Commission, to take action and to draft EU-wide legislation.
All good wishes

FS: MTB Mavic Crosstrail UST 6 bolt disc Wheelset £90
These were bought new from wiggle in December 2007.
http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/6891/pict4386.jpg
ALBUM
see pics in album^
Great value for a full Mavic UST wheelset. Used (but not excessively) over about 2.5 years.
Good working condition. Ideal if you want to give tubeless (or disc brakes) a try for the first time without splashing out for a new set.
Can be used with standard tyres and tubes of course.
UST tyres I have used inflate and seat first time on these rims with a track pump and stay up!
Standard 6-bolt rotor fittings. QR hubs. Some normal cosmetic surface scratches etc.
Hubs still spin OK but havent been serviced for a while- you may want to service these if you like them running perfectly.
Both wheels have aero spokes that are all still very tight and the cool-looking milled out sliver sections on the rims.
Rims are not perfectly true – they have a very slight wobble if checking by eye but this can be trued up.
Note Some ‘ding’ damage to rear rim as follows and marked on pics- does not appear to affect seating/sealing of tubeless tyres.
A: dent- rim pushed in by about 1mm max over a 20mm arc.
B: Gouge/bash diagonally across rim, approx 4mmx2mmx1.5mm deep
C: Gouge/bash along line of rim, approx 4mmx2mmx1.5mm deep
Included are 2x mavic QRs and 2x genuine Mavic UST valve stems. You will need to get screw-in valve cores to use these but these can be picked up for a couple of quid.
All for the BARGAIN PRICE of £90 including recorded delivery- signature required.
These wheels work fine but because they are used, the longevity or safety cannot be guaranteed.
Payment by bank transfer only please. If you have any dispute or want a refund for any reason you MUST send them back unused at your own cost.
Please email for more info if interested- thanks for looking!forgot to add that the freehub will come with a spacer ring to suit shimano cassettes- without this they won't tighten up properly- for reasons only known to mavic!
Hope I havent made them sound like they're knackered - they arent at all and work well, I just want to be crystal clear with the condition to avoid any surprises... -

Lets hope he doesn't make a full recovery, thus taking another thief off the street.
You get what you deserve in this life. I like the sound of your bikeUnfortunately, it's not the case that you get what you deserve in life. That would be 'justice'. There is, however, a fairly widespread phenomenon called 'injustice' which rather puts a spanner into this attitude.

Probably some little crack head who overdosed lol. Maybe he was having an epileptic fit.
Whatever lets hope he's still fucked. I can't stand all this sympathy for the theives and scum in todays societyAn interesting case this one- some good debate.
As Oliver notes, things aren't always quite as simple as they seem.Don't get me wrong, I'm against the type of society that takes away responsibility for people's actions as much as anyone, but I'd like to know how you would feel if you'd stood over the dying kid laughing only to find later that his dad is an alcoholic who beats the shit out of him/his mum on a daily basis if he doesnt get his tins of super or whatever when he wants them

*Oliver:
Obviously, it is still better to assume that a driver hasn't seen you than to assume that they have seen you when they haven't, but making any kind of assumption in traffic is the mother off all mess-ups.*Sureley even you will concede that that's a somewhat misleading statement, Oliver?
How can they both be the 'mother of all mess-ups'??
One worst case might get you through a junction with around 10 seconds delay, the other worst case might get you in hospital?
