There's a bit of a mountain to climb safety-wise. On the flipside is that we'll be more confident players if we are all sure the risk of injury has been minimised. I even think helmets and pads - knees and elbows - are a good idea for this reason. We play pretty physically after all!

Liam and I are up for polo at 4. I can bring the mallets as I only live round the corner from Tim. Pass on the secret location if you'd rather I grabbed them.

I haven't heard of anyone having their bike vandalised during the day here. Bring a D-Lock and a heavy duty chain/barrel lock and I reckon you'll be fine anywhere in town.
