If 6 people who have mallets turn up... the guys who have been showing up don't have mallets (me included) and the usual suspects who do have them have been conspicuously absent of late. Come down and give us a masterclass on Thursday Woooooody. How did you do in the tourney btw? We left with our tails between our legs let me tell you ;)

So, the summer is rapidly dying and along with it go the indian dreams of sunshine 'til November. We should hold a ritual to convince our Sol to show its face for just a wee bit longer. I propose this ritual should take place on the last Sunday of this month (29th Aug) in the form of a PhotoCAT race.
In a change to the usual setup, I think it would be cool to pick a start point that we could all convoy to after meeting up at the Fiddler's. That way we could pose our way through town and get each other all stoked-up for the race.
Thoughts, spoke cards, suggestions, COMPETITORS are all welcome.

The second one is dangerously close to Whitehawk ;) and Sussex St is a graffiti area. I can't believe I didn't think of it before. Blaze suggested down Lewes Rd opp. the bus garage which I think is a good bet. Also, for winter times Lewes Rd Sainsbury's car park is quite likely. It's lit, the store closes and I've never had a kick-off for skating there.

Right, Polo last night was a bit of a bust. Props to everyone that turned up though, we can keep this going. We need to get all the mallets that we can, get a new ball or two and store them centrally. I am willing to store all the necessaries at my house as it is close to Preston Park and I'm always available on the telephone.

Yes, we'll play. Provided it's not actually tipping it down at 5.30 I'll be there. Also, a mate of mine has some 700C x 28 Ultra Gator Skins for sale, they are unused condition.
