Had been looking for these sr bars to go with the stem for a while. While one side is heavily scratched i didnt mind too much as they were cheap.
However shortly after i picked up these nitto b123 bars and technomic stem for £22. Not really sure if i would want to leave these locked up or not. While they are very nice i might also save for another build, cant really decide.
Also got the front wheel ready to roll.

Haha cheers. Postman brought some goodies earlier. Had been searching for some cheapish gumwall tyres and found the Michelin tyres x2 for £20. Thought id go with the michelin tubes aswell as they were on sale.
Just waiting for rear spokes and then can finish the wheels. Not sure about the 16t sprocket anymore as had been riding 46-16 for years an fancy a change.
SR Royal crank arms after some polishing.

Bit of a parts update!
SR stem after polishing, probably needs a bit more time spent on it.
Quite worn SR track pedals, just waiting for some new clips and straps.
Sugino Mighty seatpost, needs deanodizing and polishing. Although may stick a sr laprade post on there instead and save the sugino for another build.
Sugino 46t chainring.
May end up using a campag nuovo record 45t cant really decide.

I acquired this frame sometime ago and have taken quite a liking to it over the other frames i currently have. The frame has columbus tubing and a saba bottom bracket shell, as far as im aware it was made by ciocc for peracinni.
The forks had a very small amount of thread on the steerer as they had been cut so had to get the thread extended. Was quite a fair few spots on the paintwork also which had been touched up and also needed doing. I had been buying some frames recently to replace a gazelle which ive decided to hang on the wall due to a cracked headtube lug. Since i had a bit of a mish mash selection of parts on that ride i thought id slowly purchase some select pieces for the peracinni.
Since taking those pictures ive had the steerer extended and attached a headset. Will post some better images online tomorrow.
Planning on using japanese components, pretty much all sr royal / sugino where possible. Mostly used parts which will be bought reasonably cheap.
Had picked up some sr royal crankarms and fluted style stem recently.

Any scientist, prince jammy, king tubby or similar dub reggae in there?
There are some tubbys and the aggrovators on the b sides of 3 jackpot releases, but they are the players and bunny lee the producer so more versions than dubs but still nice none the less.
you not interested in cash money?
Had been listing a lot on ebay but im unable to take sound clips at the moment and prefer to do that rather than grading. This box is pretty much all mint so if there is no interest in trades i will put up the full list with prices soon as i get it sorted.
How bizarre, I was playing this not an hour ago
good luck with the swap / saleCheers!
I have a guy in the office that would be interested in your vinyl, can pay dorras if you're open to that? Let me know
Will do, cheers for the interest.

Top cup is at the end of fork thread in this image. Would a higher stack headset solve this problem? Generally does the stack height reffer to the size of the cups changing in height or is it more bolts and spacers above the cups ect. As maybe im over thinking it but im going to need a headset with a large bottom cup in order the keep the end of the forks thread as close to the headtube as possible. Would prefer not to get forks rethreaded to be honest.

The Pirate may be too cheap for all we know.
Could also be totally overpriced. After reading the discussion i looked at the first similar threads down below, where a imo very nice stelbel went for 300 euros (granted cheaper prob due to size and group).. with no knowledge on stelbel would still guess that this is a 'special' price and would take a special buyer to purchase. Cheers for the suggestion, had totally forgot i could just get the forks rethreaded futher down. They are the original forks but for some reason have been cut slightIy before i bought the frame and forks. Was thinking a headset with 44 or 45mm stack would be fine though, 30mm space remaining and 14mm thread? dont mind getting another headset really as have a few frames needing headsets.

Greetings, got a bit of a issue with trying to fit this headset. Measured my fork steerer and headtube (158mm/188mm) which left 30mm. Assumed that a headset with around 30mm stack height would be fine. Bought a Dia-Compe Gran Compe SE Threaded Headset which had been told was 34mm stack. It would be all good however there is only a short ammount of thread ontop of the fork steerer (14mm) and therefore doesnt all clamp down as normal but leaves a space of around 10mm. I cannot add any spacers as the top cup is threaded and reached the end of the thread. I assume im going to have to find a headset with a larger bottom cup? Any advice would be appreciated and sorry if this is a bit of a dim question. Thanks
Originaly bought from pedalpedlar, have acquired few too many frames and not even built this one up since buying it.
