I have these early Goldtec large flange 28 hole track hubs removed from one of my track wheels sets.

In fairly good condition with smooth bearings, never used on the street or been wet .

I even think I have the bladed spokes for them as well !

I have a small Paul Donohue track frame in Reynolds 653 tubing that might suit, have a look at the snaps and let me know

You can get 42T 144BCD rings fairly easily.

Campagnolo made a 41T, 144 BCD ring and yes,the bolt holes are almost in place of the teeth :-)

Hub runs very smoothly, the stainless spokes are not binding and the rim runs true.

The Conti 4000 tubular is unusable as it has a nasty split in it that gapes open at 10 bar.

Got down to have a look in the store this morning and there are hardly any Campagnolo hubs in the higher spoke counts.

After 1986 I tended to build / use track wheels with 28 spokes as standard so that is mostly what is left in the store.
There are the following good condition serviceable hubs :

Small flange Record 28 hole rear
Small flange C Record 28 hole front

Large Flange Record 36 hole front ( rear one has stripped sprocket thread )
Large Flange Record 32 hole rear

Small flange Record 36 hole rear road hub

Pair of Record 28 hole built in to Weinmann / Alesa 920 PROF Grey hard anodised Sprint rims
( These were Callum Skinners race wheels when he was a boy ! )

I can mirror polish them if that is desired but they are in good condition having never been used in the wet or outside and stored dry .

I will get some pictures in the day light tomorrow if any of them are of interest.

I have a 16 spoke Campagnolo Shamal hub on a 50 / 60 mm deep carbon tubular rim, sounds like just what your looking for :-)

It's in the bike store, I will get it tomorrow and take some snaps.

I used to go to quite a lot of the local bike shops.... which one is yours ?

Pure speculation on the basis that;

If you may be able to collect , then you might be in the central belt and the local bike shop will probably carry the required adaptors that would be used for high end road bikes or recent MTB's and if it does not they can get it for you or you can go to Halfords and they have them in the bike section .....

No thru axle adapter with it I am afraid, but they are available for £10 or so from your LBS

This is the 10 speed shadow clutch model, it was swapped off a new bike for a SRAM drive train and other than a few paint scuffs on the cage where the chain ran through it’s like new.

I have a Shimano 600 chainset with 52 / 39 rings and 172.5mm cranks and a Shimano sealed english threaded JIS bracket to go with it .

It will run 10 speed just fine, I took it off my Gazelle road bike last year.

Alternatively, it's not Campagnolo , but a low stack complete Dura Ace HB-7410 head set is also in the parts bin ...

I have a complete Campagnolo Athena headset if that's of any use..... ?
