These are my Campag Record Large flange track wheels. I have just rebuilt in to Mavic Open Pro clincher rims with Stainless DT Swiss Spokes in a cross 3 pattern.
The bearings are perfect, both the sprocket thread and lock ring thread are in excellent condition. One wheel nut is a bit rusty though.
These are tough Wheels for street riding or track training.
If you want them tied and soldered just ask !
You can have a look at them here :

After the discussion on the Mack hubs I was selling last week being the "Wrong Price",
www.londonfgss.com/thread32363.html
I have decided to apply a bit of logic ...
Mavic Open Pro rims x 2 = £80
DT Stainless butted Spokes £24
Build = free, I did that !
Campagnolo Large Flange record track hubs with nuts and lock ring £ ?
So you can
A Tell me if you would like them .
B Tell me how much they are worth to you.
C When we agree I will post them off to you in a custom made wheel box
D As a bonus I may be able to provide tapes tyres and tubes as well.Regards Allister

just got back in from work to see all the replies to my advert !
Some really good questions and observations, forums are great for discussion so here goes !
why you selling?
**
Full time job, new baby daughter, wife on maternity leave..... too many bike parts in the nursery, not enough cash in the bank.... **£200 is well over the odds, I paid £260 for mine with ceramic bearings and world champ stripes.
Not whaling on you but if you want to earn money off people, eBay is that way >>>>>**Yep, you never really know what some thing is worth to some one else till you sell it,
I did say if you want to offer me a bit less that's OK I would just have to think about it a bit longer .... it's all in the control of the buyer really
**
I reckon you should keep them on your desk, drill the holes out a bit bigger and make yourself a wonderful desk-tidy.**I have a stripped large flange Campagnolo "Sherriff Star" polished rear hub shell that acts as a desk tidy already... no need to go overboard ! **
Normally you email Mack in Poland wait 3 or 4 weeks for a reply, specify the hubs you want wait a few more weeks, then pay for them plus delivery then wait a few more weeks then they arrive
Sorry Allister but that's just bullshit. He's busy alright and does not sit all day in front of the computer waiting to reply your emails but once you make the order and wait a bit, the hubs are ready on the day he tells you they will be and the shipping takes only couple of days.
**Nice to hear your experience was shorter and sweeter, I can only share the experience I had at the time which I thought was worth doing as the hubs are really nice and the exchange rate was poor .
**
Impatience is a costly virtue but it's offset against choice, why buy someone else's custom hubs?**Spot on ! Impatience is a costly virtue
These might be the only ones you can get in time for Christmas though....I suppose the other part is although they are custom hubs, these ones are really not custom with 32 holes 120 / 100 mm spacing and double fixed, they are really a track standard in an excellent hub set. **
Nice to have folks views though.
Would it be better to post item descriptions and ask folk what they think they are worth, or price them and invite near offers or is that too much like ebay ?
Best regards
Allister

I am offering for sale a pair of brand new Mack track hubs.
These were for a special project that never happened and are now for sale with some other black finished top quality components.
They are 32 hole flip flop double fixed anodised black with the Swiss sealed bearings and deep set lock rings.
They are probably the best track hubs I have ever seen (and I have seen quite a few).
Normally you email Mack in Poland wait 3 or 4 weeks for a reply, specify the hubs you want wait a few more weeks, then pay for them plus delivery then wait a few more weeks then they arrive and you are delighted with them and then have to decide if they are so beautiful you keep them on your desk or start to build them up.
Have a look at them here :
http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/trackkitforsale/MackTrackHubs#Well short cut all that and offer me £ 200 and I will post them off to you tomorrow
( or when the funds clear) if you want to offer me a bit less that's OK but it makes it harder to decide if they should move off my desk !Please mail me if interested .

Hi folks,
I have been clearing out my track bag and have 5 surplus 15 tooth Dura Ace Steel sprockets in 3/32 width
Three of them have AW engraved on them and the other two don't .
They are all in excellent condition , well there is not much can go wrong with them to be honest .
They are about £ 11 each so I am looking for £6 including postage in UK
Please PM me if interested .

For GBP 100 they are good value with out any real down side except they are not so good if you are going to run a brake on them .
We have some for our kids track bikes and they seem to hold up to a bit of abuse once they have been bedded in and the spokes tightened after 6 or 7 outings.
If I was spending my own money for a fixed wheel road bike they would be near the top of the list .

The frame rear ends are 136mm across the inside dimension of the drop outs.
The wheel axle dimension over the lock nuts has been increased from 120mm to 136mm by placing an 10mm spacer on the off side and 6mm on the drive side of the axle.
This means the frame is not being bent / compressed to tighten the wheel up and the rear chain and seat stays are in correct alignment and the chain line is correct for smooth running.
Hope that helps.

I have just had a look at this again and it is a bit too expensive.
I understand that it's hard to price the quality of ride this bike has.... it's really kind of magic !
I have a number of really nice bikes but this is the one I like riding about town and in to work, there is some thing about it that I would pay GBP 350 for, but I understand thats a very personal thing.
**So I will reduce the price to GBP 320 including posage to the UK **
I would value opinions on the price of components if I was to split the bike up.
These are the prices I was thinking of plus a contribution to the postage costs.
Equipment Split price :
Frame with headset + Seatpin GBP 150 + 12 postage
Rear Wheel: Double fixed 28 hole Novotec sealed bearing hub on Navigator Clincher rim spaced to 136mm Centres
**Split price GBP 50 GBP plus 8 for tyre and tube **Front Wheel: Formula 32 hole sealed bearing hub on Planet X box section clincher rim.

I am selling my Raleigh Dyna-Tech Fixie Beater,
You can have a look at some pictures here:
http://picasaweb.google.com/girlontheway/DynaTechFixieBeater06092009?authkey=Gv1sRgCLjFjMm-o9PTWA#
It's a Raleigh special products division composite road frame made of Titanium / Cr-Mo tubing, finished in a lovely deep pink / plum metallic colour with original decals.
It still has the fittings for rear brake, bottle cages and gears if you want to convert it back to a road bike.
The bike rides really well , is light and responsive with a very smooth comfortable ride compared to a stiff alloy or carbon track frame.
**Dimensions: **
Top Tube centre to centre 52.5
Seat tube centre to centre 50.5
Saddle height as shown in the pictures 70cm
**Equipment : **
Rear Wheel: Double fixed 28 hole Novotec sealed bearing hub on Navigator Clincher rim spaced to 136mm Centres
Front Wheel: Formula 32 hole sealed bearing hub on Planet X box section clincher rim.
Tyres: Continental 3000 with red side wall strip
Saddle: Scott
Stem: Cinelli 1A 90mm
Bars: Unknown bull horns
**
Chainset: **Shimano Early 105 170mm cranks (FC-1056) with 130 BCD arms 48T Shimano Ring with inner spacer ring .BB Shimano sealed 105 cartridge
Rear Sprocket : 16 tooth Dura Ace
Chain: KMC Silver finish
The chain line has been sorted to be correct with the rear hub spacing, BB length and the ring on the outside of the chainset, it's really smooth !
I can sort out some pedals, clips and straps for you if they are needed.
**Asking for £350 in the first instance . **
Bike can be collected / delivered in Central Scotland or posted in the UK for £ 20
Please PM me if interested .
Regards Allister
I would go for the One on One hubs from Planet X , they are great quality and the small flange ones are very neat.
At £30 they are just as functional if not quite so pretty as Campagnolo record small flange at nearly a tenth of the price....
