Hi all,
I'm restoring a late '70s Colnago Super and am tempted by a set of repro decals on eBay from a seller called gts753. Only trouble is he's in Australia. The price per set even with postage isn't disastrously expensive (about £30) - and he's also got the right decals for two other projects I'm working on. Quality looks good too.
Just wondered whether anyone has got decals from him - or anywhere closer to home - that were any good? The search turned up H Lloyd but they don't seem to have what I want.
Thanks...

Interesting Rapha film on Monocle magazine's website if anyone has five minutes to waste:

Think the only rear mudguards I have aren't pretty enough. The Old Bicycle Company do reproduction old-school Raleigh mudguards...

An unbelievable stroke of good fortune has, for those interested, resolved this one. I just popped to W F Holdsworth in Putney to get said cranks removed and by some miracle they'd just this week dusted off a NOS crank puller from their Aladdin's cave of a workshop. And I bought it.
So the cranks are keepers - and if anyone else with a taste for odd-sized retro cranksets needs to borrow the puller, shout.
Thanks all - I'll post some proper pics of the bike soon for those who'd like to see it.

All,
Just a bit of idle chitchat for a Friday afternoon, really, but I've about finished this build using an old Peugeot frame and originally decided to keep hold of the Stronglight cranks. Quite like their retro goodness.
I now need to change the bottom bracket and the problem is the old crank-puller issue - they're old enough to need the 23.15mm tool which means a trip to Holdworth in Putney any time I want to get them off.
So I can't decide whether to bin them in favour of some BLB Pista Veras (or similar vintage style set) to make my life easier in the future, or get the Stronglights properly polished up, fit a decent sealed bottom bracket and worry about the problem of getting them off whenever it may happen in the distant future.
Pic attached. Thoughts?

Might take the saddle too, Jonny. PM on way.
How's the build going?
