Good, comfy, sturdy commuter pedals. Should last for years. I bought them for the other half's hybrid before it got nicked (and then she started riding home-built vintage stuff). Hopefully suit someone on here or I'll pop them on eBay.
I paid £16.99 so let's say £12 or £15 posted if you're in the UK. Collect from Richmond or Teddington, usual dibs and PM please if interested. Thanks.

These have been wrapped up in a box for about three years and finally I'll admit I can't see me using them. Absolutely mint, never used - could be NOS if I had the packaging (which I don't). Very light, great performing brakes I'm told:
I'd like £50 but may listen to a close offer. Pick up Richmond or Teddington. Happy to post and will charge only what it costs - PM for details. Dibs and PM to secure. Thanks all.

Have another fixed/free wheelset in black. Details here.

Lovely old Concor San Marco Supercorsa saddle in brown. A few marks and the rails show a bit of rust but in good condition and perfect for a classic build, £35:
And two Charge Spoon saddles ideal for a beater, one black in slightly used condition for £8 and one brown which hardly looks like it's been sat on at £10 (BOTH NOW SOLD):
Collection Richmond or Teddington, dibs and PM to secure. Happy to post and will charge only what it costs - send me a note if interested.

A black semi-deep flip-flop wheelset with (I think) Formula hubs and Alex AT450 rims. Great for a daily ride as they seem pretty bombproof - I commuted on them for a few months over the darker months and planned to use them again in the autumn. They could use a wipe down and there is the odd mark but they will clean up very well and both run smooth and true. Tyres are Bontrager Racelite in grey/black and there's an 18-tooth freewheel fitted:
Looking for £75 collected from Richmond or Teddington. Dibs and PM please. Thanks.

SOLD
Tidy flip-flop wheelset ideal for a beater. Slightly garish green deep rims with what look like Formula hubs. Rims have a few marks but wheels run basically true and are good to use as is - but could use a decent clean and a bit of polish (should come up well):
Looking for £45, collected from Richmond or Teddington. Dibs plus PM please.
Also have another set of (better) black Alex-rimmed wheels with tyres which I'll list tomorrow.

Charge flat bars with SR stem wrapped in black Charge tape. Used on a daily ride for a few months before I realised vintage stuff was more me. Good for a beater-plus build - and maybe with these matching tyres. Stem is in good nick - biggest marks are below insertion line and it will polish up well. Bar itself is in very good shape.
First £10 gets them - collection Richmond or Teddington. May post. Dibs and PM please. Ta.

Three Halo Courier tyres, one black, one purple, one green and all 700x24. The black and purple ones are barely used (maybe a couple of hundred miles tops) but the green has seen better days.
£10 each for the black and purple, £15 for the pair. The green one is free to anyone who wants it. Collection Richmond or Teddington, dibs and PM to secure. I also have a flat purple Charge bar and stem combo to match the tyres - PM for details.

A tiny update only because I am ridiculously pleased with myself after half an hour of this:
...the brakes no longer scream when you pull on them. I had taken to basically riding this as if brakeless, but I managed a little toe-in after filing off way more pad away than I originally had the heart to attempt. It worked.
Also removed that front leather bag I talked about above. Just wasn't right. And I can use the rack to carry more stuff with bungee ropes than I could squeeze through the bag's tiny opening, like a newspaper. Or a note book. Or a shoe. Ok, so it's still not exactly practical and I hardly ever use it but I like the way it looks, especially with the saddle bag.
And that, incidentally, is now filled with this slightly geeky eBay find. A period Dunlop puncture repair kit:
It did still have all the original repair kit parts in there but I (perhaps wisely) wrapped those up and tucked them away in favour of using the tin to hold a much more compact puncture patch and a set of period Mafac tools. All fits snugly inside so there's no rattling as I ride:

Here's the bike (excuse off-focus phone pic):

Ok, I get this. I ride single speed a fair bit to work, gives the knees a break every now and again. Upgraded one bike to a kickshift two-speed hub - still looks as clean as a single speed but gives you a bit more top end. And no clips or cages on the pedals means I can ride in shoes. Ideal for meetings.
Clearly I'm old before my time.
