There is a Norths Christmas meet up at The Crown in Highgate from 5pm ish on Sunday (22nd Dec) (opposite the Prince of Wales on Highgate high st).

It's up a big hill, has great beer and you can get Yard sale pizza delivered. They even have a secret garden at the back. Bike parking is a bit crap but it's not really a high risk area (famous last words).

Is it recently serviced by a certified mechanic?

I used to love the old tri comp fortezzas back in the olden days - have just bought a twin pack of the tubeless ones to tubelessify my newest road bike - £70 including a bottle of gloop - will report back

I'm enjoying my Vredestein Superpassos - Winter boots for my Sunday road bike to let the Veloflexes rest until the spring.

They feel like a quality tyre, ride nicely, have grip and aren't too heavy - and arent as £££ as GP5000s and feel like they are a bit less disposable than Pro Ones.

Maynard has a nice line in bitter and the seats out the front catch the sun nicely on a Summer evening. Also you can likely get away with lockless.
