Seem to remember Bike Island in Pollenca was happy to flip the brakes on a Giant Defy to UK format even for a short rental - I'm much happier descending from the mountains with right hand front brake muscle menory - a lot of the rentals there are euro setup. If you want to try some exotics there are some places on the strip in Alcudia - BMC and Specialized etc. Most bling bike hire spot that I found was in Soller - Colnagos and Emondas - very nice but pricey

Pinarello place gave me a great deal on 3 days hire - I wanted non consecutive days so they just gave me the bike for 6 days for the price of 3 - was the older guy who owns it that sorted it out - good chap. Think it was an F8, insured for 120 euros?
