Unfortunately a friend's bike has been stolen yesterday morning at athens / greece.
It's his only bike and he is very connected with it cause it's a present from his father
before 30 years...
It's very rare, i hope that someone sees it and help him to have it back.It's a Calzone Torino and the photo below shows the bike as it was till yesterday morning ;
thanks!

Writing grams as gr is fucking confusing... I was trying to translate in my head all through that. I sound like an idiot for saying this, but it took me about a minute to read that and understand the points.
I'm sure he meant gram, but gr is actually the abbreviation for the much smaller imperial unit grain
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grain_(unit)
1g = 15.432grsorry, i mix it up with its' counterpart in greek that has two digits...

The two things we know about 953 are:
1: It's stainless
2: It's the lightest steel tubeset in current useThose being the case, why would you plaster 200g of paint over it?
I used to weigh "heavy" paint against net frame weigh few years now.
They never exceed 45g -50g on no56 frames though they carry the tougher
base coat that i can use, at least 3 layer color scene, vinyl stickers, water slide
decals and at least 2 layer clear coat. Most of them are close to 35g-40g and 7g-14g on fork.
Only electrostatic paint could be 70g - 140g per layer but i don't know
why someone would like something like this on a good road bike...Stainless it's another metal surface when we talk aesthetics. I can't have
as a norm that every stainless bike should be naked.
My norm is that a bike should consistent its' rider character - culture
with whatever urges him to ride more or not been bored. -

frame is only too small when the rider is hitting his ribs with his knees whilst cycling
anything before that is just more aero
too aggressive for road riding, open to debate - but riders go smaller frames these daysNot only these days, its a practice that starts almost since the development
of the well manufactured 12-14 quill stems. Using smaller triangles you gain a stiffer frame with less weight.
I don't know why some cyclists see the offset on seat posts as a fault.
I always try to set my saddle as close as the legth of my legs allow to
the vertical that defined by the rear wheel axle and i always prefer 12-13cm stems instead of 10cm.Of course you have to find the geometry that gives you the head tube
height that you need depending on your riding style. -

yup, but the piece of leather that i use was donated
from a good friend ;)
You need a large piece of thick and expensive leather to cut 135cm tapes......and i was blocked from snowfall in his land during my vacations...

My first attemp to create a bulletproof tape.
Taken from an enormous cowskin, shaped (along with my fingertips) on
a grinding wheel and perforated only there that my hands should be...http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_roHwv-S6dt8/TFNAd5P9ZcI/AAAAAAAAAQc/dFA8QBv_S8Y/s1600/Michaello_new13.jpg
a bit risky without gloves and a pain in the ass if you want to change the stem etc.

Am I the only one who find Bishop's decal to be awful?
no but why don't you deploy your thoughts about?
it will be much more interesting.I think that its successful as a brand but it's been designed a little more
futuristic to comport with Chris work.It gives me the feel that the designer focus (succefully) on how to express
quality and Chris character while he is forgot the use of the name in the past
and the origin of the workshop today.
that's the easiest way to avoid a plastic one, you will find one easily.
you can always build it with modern parts gaining a superb ride.
