@tapsnbath has just bought a lovely Holdsworth Equipe frame and will be building it up over the next year... I'm not sure if Im going to go for a rebuild on an old Claud Butler or a Holdsworth Cyclone yet; but I'd love an Equipe too...
we're mainly aiming at drinking our the way round rather than the distance though... :)

Probably worth a new thread in rides & races...
Group registration looks a bit more complicated compared to when I did it in 2010 as you need to all register together to be guaranteed to start together. Although there is also the possibility of changing start times once you are there.

Damn. World tandem championships that tapsnbath and I entered have been cancelled.
In all honesty thats probably my only hope at ever racing at a genuine Worlds event gone...

Cycled through just as police (who waved me through) were clearing the scene. Back window of car totally smashed and blood on the road. Hope the cyclist is OK.

I have an old Raleigh Banana frame rattle can paint job with a few chips here and there if you're interested - fairly large think its 58cm... also some NOS Raleigh Banana decals for sale.

Cheers all but particularly a massive thanks to John and Katie for organising everything you did - it was all so smooth and made my first dynamo super enjoyable.
Awesome rides by all but especially by those who did the return journey (next year?) and I'll never look at a boris bike in the same way again...
Next year we won't leave quite so early but it was magic seeing the sunrise and the beach slowly fill up. Claud the tandem rocked downhill and on the flats beating his previous outings to the pub by about 160kms with no mechanicals (phew!)
Good luck to Olly with the new adventures and will give you a shout in Oz if Claud takes us that far!
